I took my Convertible BMW to this place to check and repair a simple issue. I had even removed all interior parts for ease of access. The top would stop halfway. They called after a couple hours and said the cost of checking it was almost $400. Nothing was fixed. They didn’t even bother putting it beck properly found screw and clamp in the cup holder. They gave me a vague print out and took $364 from me. This place is as good as jiffy’s oil lube with the difference of a scanner they have. The guys who work there are a bunch of high school summer part time kids. I didn’t even see one professional working there. Yes the name is cute but it’s just a name and has nothing to do with any German people working there who take pride in their job. To fix it they demanded a minimum budget of $2000! They put so much stress on the hydraulic motor of my top which didn’t have absolutely any problems. I found out about the hydraulic motor when I tried to take another shot at repairing it myself. They destroyed the motor to a point where it just made a weak buzzing noise and didn’t even move the top, where as previous to taking it to this place it worked strongly. It would just stop half way as this top works in stages and if one sensor or motor stops then the entire mechanism stops. I took a more careful look at the mechanism and found that the motor which locks the top’s lid was misaligned. Now I have to buy a hydraulic motor just because I took the car to this place. I was deceived by their name! Also was referred to by Reid’s Auto. Never again! Just be aware where you’re taking your German cars.
Brought it there with an ignition coil problem…. 800$ later they had done all kinds of work I did not authorize… they simply said hey it is a bmw a grand is cheap… I ordered the parts removed and they did remove them…. Scammers!!Service: Auto engine diagnostic
Wow, what a knowledgeable, and honest team here. They truly care for your vehicle and want to make sure it's well taken care of. I have never brought my BMW anywhere other than to a BMW dealership for servicing, but now that I've found these guys, I know where my BMW will be going in future. My impression is they are very trustworthy people. I'm truly impressed with these guys.
This shop has been servicing German cars for a very long time. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. If you have a BMW I would recommend this shop.
Great service. They took me in really quick to program my new injectors on my sprinter. They also adviced me on stuff to be careful on my engine. Really happy to find someone that knows sprinter, specially on the island.
Excellent service. Fair price. I’m always a bit sceptical trying out a new place to service my wife’s Audi TT. Roger was fair, honest and professional. One of the brake callipers stuck while in storage. They inspected, serviced and told us no new parts needed. Just found our new Mechanic. Thanks.
I have been using Valley West for over 12 years and have never been anything but fully satisfied. It looked like a broken rear coil on my car the other day but when they were going to replace it they determined that it was just a surface scar. Rather than replace it needlessly they sent the parts back and proved yet again that they are a truly ethical business!! Incredible!!
I used these guys to do a review of a car I was looking at buying. They did what I asked for at a fair price and took the time to talk to me about what they found. Valley Autohaus always does a fantastic and extremely professional job on our BMW. At one point our car needed a repair that meant that I could not drive the car 300kms to my home. They were going to be closed the next day, but Valley Autohaus went above and beyond the call of duty, made the time for us, and got the job done. Our BMW only goes to Valley Autohaus.
