Old Skool service with years of knowledge. Dave and his crew are one of the more solid service providers in the Valley. More than just tires. Great for vehicle repairs as well. They look after 4 of my commercial vehicles and my personal vehicles as well. Always sound and sensible advice. Yes , sometimes there are waits due to volume, but their level of service is worth it.
These guys are great, super fast and same day. Had a flat tire that was rusted on and i couldnt get it off. I called them up and they said come on down, 45 minutes later new tire, all done and cheap.
Check your lug nut torques yourself. Dont trust the shop. I had my truck in for a standard rotation and shortly afterwards a wheel nearly fell right off. I'm looking at a $750 repair for a mangled hub, studs, rotor and rim and OK tire isn't taking any responsibility. Otherwise i've found them very pleasant!Service: Tire rotations
I was there in the end of August for a standart wheel rotation. Everything was fine and the guys in the shop were friendly. Now in December i had to check the front breaks and took off the front wheels, I realized, that ok tire destroyed two screws and maybe the thread of the wheel hub while rotating the wheels in August, because the wheel wasnt removed between August and December. Normally this is all no problem and we could talk about a solution, but nobody answer my questions and respond on any e-mails. What kind of company are you? Just earning money and be responsible for nothing?
Very friendly and very helpful. No other place in town had valve stems for my dump truck but they did! I recomend to everyone I know!Service: Tires
Good service, had to get my brakes and e-brake fixed on our truck and they did a great job.
I arrived in Courtenay from Campbell River on a holiday Sunday with my spare donut tire riding roughly and then crumpling. I crept to a gas station. Early on Monday I started my search for a tire to replace the first unrepairable blowout. I needed a 15 inch rim size and those tires were now rare. Shop #1 said it would be a 2 day delivery wait, 4 new tires recommended. I walked to shop#2 - OK Tire. I was surprised that they had a pair of suitable used tires. They also had a donut spare and would do a service call. We drove with worker to put it on my car. I then drove the car to the shop about a mile away. The 2 used tires were installed. My one good front tire became a full sized spare. By 11 am on Monday I was out of my motel and on way home feeling I had saved a huge bundle of time and money on tires and maybe tow charges as well. I was also better prepared for the future with a full size spare. So very happy with OK Tire in discussions, prices, timeliness in solving my tire problems in Courtenay.Service: Tires
RV Tire blew up on highway. Limped into to the trucking warehouse parking lot next doorfor the night. 8 am got 2 used tires for $200. Extra $50 for install. Awesome job. Great tires . Good coffee. Good service.
Was in a bind while travelling, on a Friday of a long weekend. My vehicle had some potentially serious issues. Had a hard time finding someone who had the ability to help out. Dave from OK Tire was amazing! Busy as they were, he helped us out and we were back up and running in a few hours and long weekend continues with no further stress While waiting, I heard him bail out some other folks as well. Big heart. Customer service is amazing, highly recommend them. Go here. You won't regret it. Thanks!
