Valle Vista Stables

The staff and owners are amazing, all hard working and passionate about what they do here. The horses are well taken care of but also loved everyday. Yes it isn't like the other posh barns I've seen but I'd pick VVS every time simply on the principle that it's like walking into a family gathering. You are welcomed and treated like family the minute you drive in. Everyone here knows their stuff about anything to do with horses and training and are eager to teach you everything they can. I highly recommend Valle Vista Stables to anyone interested whether it's in the real deal experience of working in a barn with horses to trail rides to lessons. :)

Valle Vista Stables treats their animals and staff very great. I know from first hand observations that all horses and animals are well fed and cared for. The staff are all very hard workers and an amazing group to ride with. The trail rides are safe and fun, and the horses are taken out often by experienced riders to make sure all the horses are in good shape and calm for new riders. Terry the owner is always willing to lend a hand and is there to help in any situations. Such a fun and safe barn to be at! Will recommend to all who are wanting a fun and enjoyable time!

Valle Vista Stables is not a safe place for ANYONE to be. I had kept my horse there for a couple years and it wasn't until I started to look at other barns I realized how unprofessionally VVS is run; the owner makes the kids who go there clean all the stalls, walk all the trails and teach all the lessons no matter if they want to or not. The owner is horrible to his horses and shouldn't be running a barn. I would not recommend sending you'r kids or horses to Valle Vista Stables.

Been with Valle Vista for a year now. Started out with my son and daughter as camp kids and could not keep them away since! Place is wonderful. Terry the owner really cares about kids and his horses and he always wants to make sure the kids are having a fun experience. Highly recommend it.

I would not recommend this place, I didn't feel safe. The people were unsettling, some of them were young kids doing labour intensive work including teaching lessons when they were obviously not certified and not provided with compensation. Others are alcoholics and druggies. I didn't feel comfortable around certain individuals. I was verbally accosted multiple times by certain employees. The horses are mistreated some borderline abused. Although I have many concerns one of the main problems is the lack of proper care for the horses, some didn't have water and food regularly.The CRD and SPCA have both been called out on numerous occasions however no further action has been taken. Most people in the equestrian community know of various problems with the owner however if not I hope this helps to further people's knowledge.
