Friday dinner at Valiant’s and got the vegan philly cheesteak. Valiant’s is the best vegan restaurant in barrie!!! Large portions and shockingly affordable too! This is slow vegan food so be prepared to wait as everything is incredibly made in house. But it’s WORTH THE WAIT! The owners are obviously passionate about what they do and have mastered their craft. I can’t wait for summer to try their vegan mylkshakes and walk on the waterfront.
I was so pleased to have found a fully-plant based restaurant in Barrie. Let me just say that the service was impeccable. The prices were also very fair and they have a huge selection of items on their menu. I ordered the regular grilled cheese sandwich and it was delicious! I will definitely be returning.
I’ve been coming here for a very long time, I’ve never had anything less than the best experience! Very kind owners, a great local business, and overall one of my favourite places in Barrie. They give incredible portion sizes, especially for a Vegan restaurant! Typically Vegan places are very expensive, but these guys have their prices just perfect. I usually order the chilli cheese fries, and every time I’m left over with about two or three meal portions when I’m full. I’d recommend this place to everyone
I have been going here since they first opened as Boon Burger. The service is always friendly and the food is delicious. Really great family business. The menu is huge and there are plenty of options... but the Philly pizza is our absolute favourite. I would eat it every day if I could.
We order from here weekly on pizza night, we can always count on the Valiant's fam to make our meal mouthwatering , dream worthy and all around fantastic. The atmosphere , customer service, and the food we give 15/5 stars! Vegetarian options: The whole menu is vegan plant based healthy and fresh.
Everytime I travel through Barrie I make sure I make a stop here and filly my belly with plant based goodness! The food here is incredible, and they have probably the largest vegan menu of any plant based eatery I have ever been to. Staff is friendly, food is fantastic, great location! Please open up a location in Vaughan/Woodbridge!
Everytime I go to order from here they are always out of wings. I go to place an order 1 minute after they open at 4:01 and half the menu is somehow sold out already. Their wings are fantastic so this really disappoints me. I end up ordering from somewhere else.
Travel all the way from downtown Toronto for the Boon burger and the Surf and Turf burger. If you are looking for a very filling burger try the Surf and Turf- it is absolutely enormous with great BBQ sauce, spicy jalapenos and seasoned tofu. The gluten free buns are pretty good too! Only thing that I could pass on is the tofu dog. The tofu dog is wrapped in a tortilla instead of a bun the flavour and texture didn't really go well for me, there are too many condiments and the actual tofu dog tasted boiled could have been improved greatly if it was grilled. 2/5 for the tofu dog.
BEST vegan food I've ever had!!! My brother and I stopped by and absolutely enjoyed it here. We ordered the awesome fries, caesar salad, double black bean burger with cheeze sauce and pho soup. It was so filling and just what I needed after a 23-hour flight. One of the staff even gave us extra sauce on the side for the leftover fries which disappeared as soon as we got in the car. Being celiac, it can be disheartening finding gluten-free options, but the staff was super accommodating and as soon as I picked up a menu, loaded me with options. Thank you so much for the lovely and delectable experience! : Will be back!
Best vegan spot around. I’ve lived in Toronto with vegan places in abundance and still craved this spot when I was there! Love the cheeze pizza
