Food is delicious but portion was very small I got a 1/4 chicken meal with a drink for 17$ I have ate here before in the past at other location and you used to get a lot more food. I also eat at a lot of Portuguese take out all over the city this is the smallest plate I have got to this date. Maybe times are tough now Covid definitely ruined a lot of things.

Had a delicious octopus, roasted peppers and potatoes dish. It was scrumptious! It was suggested that I heat it up, but I couldn't wait to dig in 'till I got home to try it. It was perfect. Very generous portion and super tasty flavors! Kid-friendliness: Beautiful store owner! I am sure the kids will be accomodated and welcomed! Parking: Lots of parking available. Wheelchair accessibility: Ground floor. No stairs. Dietary restrictions: Just assuming!

Just got takeout from them. The food is incredible. I got fishcakes, potatoes, rice and beef in a wine sauce. Everything is so home made and tasty! You need to try it!

Got some takeout the other day but had to mention the food. My friend was the one who actually put in the order so I don’t know the name of the dish but they have this awesome beef stew, was quite delicious.

Love the place. Good food, cosy atmosphere, feels like home. Such a typical but exquisite place.

I finally tried this place for the 1st time today and I love it. I tried a traditional codfish dish and I like their version better then my own family's. The staff was super nice and the portion was huge. Can't wait to try some more of their dishes.

After reading reviews of this restaurant, I decided to check it out. So went over today with my friend. It's a charming family run establishment. Very authentic in ambience, cuisine and everything. I was enchanted with the menu - handwritten in Portuguese on a piece of paper. And that one piece of a paper menu goes from table to table!!! I found this very appealing, it somehow added to the authenticity of the place. Hardly any one speaks English and we had to get one young woman working there to translate the menu to us and she had to struggle a bit with the translation The food is very tasty and of generous portion size. I ordered pork with potatoes and rice, my friend ordered the bacalhau cod and we split a skewer of beef. All so good and very filling. My friend had a glass of Portuguese port and I had 2 rounds of Portuguese beer. We were sooooo stuffed that we could not relish the delicious looking caramel custard and expresso. However I will certainly go there again. O one more thing, seemingly small but very charming... The senior gentleman, who is a family member, is very attentive and welcomes each patron with a complimentary appetizer - crusty tasty pieces of bread stuffed with choriso and olives on the side. A very nice touch which doesn't go unnoticed. I enjoyed my dining experience here and I highly recommend this great family run restaurant.
