This is another must do if you’re going to do the Freedom Trail. What’s not to like? There’s a nice little museum before going out to the ship. There are real Navy personnel who can give you insights and history about the ship. Finally, the ship itself is something to behold. It has been restored extremely well

Very informative! Learned so much about the history and significance of the famed warship and why it's such a national treasure. It's great that it has survived all these years and preserved for future generations. The museum also lets visitors experience what it was like for personnel of various ranks to work in the warship in its heyday and discusses their motivations for enlisting.
The exhibition is quite comprehensive. I'd say allot two hours to see everything at a comfortable pace. It's pay-as-you-wish all the time, with $5 to $10 as the the suggested donation.
We arrived from downtown Boston via the Charlestown Ferry. From the Charlestown ferry station, it's about a 10-minute walk to the museum.

The museum was adorable and cool, nice to see and well worth while. I arrived at 4:00pm hoping to get a tour of the Constitution however that apparently closes at 3:30 pm, have been good to know. The one star rating is a result of the both rude and disrespectful attitude by the employees working the security check point shack. After having served in the navy for a number of years I was disappointed by this "encounter"

It's a museum and there is a ship as well into which you are allowed to enter. You can see how it is like inside a huge ship and also there are many artifacts inside it related to it's history. Best part of entry is free.

Fantastic museum and experience, and a great place to bring tourists, too boot! I'm consistently blown away by how little most American visitors know of this great price of American history. A must see when in the area!!!
