Stopped for a quick drink and ended up staying for 3. Espresso martini was tasty, but not as cold as we thought they should be. The negronis on the other hand were amazing. Owner was great, decor very eclectic and there was always something new to catch your eye. 100% will be back to try more cocktails from their huge list, and maybe some pizza too!
Stopped in for an evening espresso&kahlua after a rough Monday. Coffee was absolutely delicious. Very smooth, velvety and nutty. Very chill atmosphere, with good music and friendly staff. They even gave me a complimentary serving of fresh popcorn I’m glad there’s someplace to go for late night coffee, without having to settle for Tim hortons. I’ll absolutely be returning.
A very cute little spot! The decor is excellent. The owner is extremely kind and helpful. It just didn't stand out. The cocktails I had were very basic, no garnish or anything to make it special, my partner got a pizza and although it was excellent, the portion size was very small. The do serve popcorn to snack on too which was great! I would go back for the decor and the service, but otherwise I'd have a hard time being convinced. I think there's huge potential!
Very nice bar on boulevard St Laurent. I was there on a Saturday night with a friend that I needed to catch up with. The place was perfect as it offered a nice and quiet atmosphere. The music is not loud, and the place has a very cosy space in the back. Bartender is very experienced and did a solid cocktail, which is usually a hit or miss at many other pubs. Waitresses were very nice and accomodating too. I saw both tourists and local people so it must be a good place for both. I would recommend if you want a quiet nice out, like to chat with a friend, go out on a date etc.
Came here on a Friday night and this is what I can say: Amazing atmosphere and the drinks are really well done. The music was great and we had so much fun.
Service took forever! We arrived as a group, playing card games. Ordered pickle back shots to start with before ordering our main drink. Pickle back shots are so easy to make, we explained to the waiter what they are. Twenty minutes later we found out that they are making a cocktail from the menu. Not what we wanted. If you can’t make this simple shot, it’s fine, but communicate with the customer! We were also ready to drink all night but nobody came to our table. The door was also open, it was very cold, we asked the manager to close the door. He said the customers like to keep it open. So we had to move to the back. What customers? The place was so quiet for a Friday night. And drinks were so expensive! I honestly don’t know how this place operates. There are far better bars on Ste Laurent!
If you don’t know URBANISTA, you don’t know what a GOOD TIME is! BEST human behind the bar: TONYYYYY AND INNA the most beautiful supportive human who makes the BEST shots! A must: Ask for their secret chocolate cake shot!
The owners are amazing people who've poured a lot of love and dedication into this bar, and it shows! Hands down one of the most memorable experiences I've had at a bar in 10+ years of living in Montreal, all thanks to the kindness of the owners.
Spacious set up, drinks are great and at reasonable prices comparing to other bars. They usually have a few people playing chess in the bar as well. Bartenders are very nice.
We were passing by a Friday Evening; the music was very cozy and catchy, the atmosphere was really cool and we enjoyed the drinks a lot. I recommend it for a night out with some friends
