Prices are alright. Kind service too! My Pho tokinoise soup beef wasn't saignant but well done. The broth taste alright but my partner's grilled chicken beef shrimp with rice was pretty good actually! The smoothie and the milk tea was pretty nice and refreshing too and the environnement give a go back in time in the 90s vibes which was different from others Asian restaurants. Their music choice are cool too. Will probably go back if we're nearby!
Awesome ambiance, great Vietnamese. Walked in expecting your classic diner but was pleasantly surprised to realize that it was actually Vietnamese food! The pho and spring rolls were pretty good. Worth the visit for the super cool ambiance and fresh food!
I stopped in for some Cogos to go and was not disappointed! Service was quick and friendly, the decor is adorable and the food was tasty + interesting. I tried three different kinds and got three different dipping sauces. Shared with a friend, it was a great snack / dinner. Will definitely be back to try some different menu items here.
La Petite Dinette is the most beautiful diner I've ever been in! Everything is designed to fit the 1950s retro diner look, complete with a jukebox, neon lights and paintings of famous actors in the 50's. I visited here on a whim because I was drawn in by the fabulous decor! I only got the Vietnamese iced coffee $6 but it was delicious and strongly brewed. It's too bad I was too full to try the other food they have to offer. You can tell the owner put a lot of effort into the diner, and he is very kind. They even play retro music and it's a nice place to relax and take pictures. Loved it!
Such an atypical restaurants! It’s a mix between an American diner the decoration, music and fast food and a Vietnamese one food like nems, bubble tea, pogo… I highly recommend the pogos and any types of the purple drinks A really good experience!
I went for a kpop event, the drink was really good! Unfortunately, the worker didn't know exactly what I wanted since it was only for the event, had to get someone else to understand what I actually wanted, there were 3 workers to take orders from 40 people and no place to sit so people had to eat or drink standing. Might come back since their food menu seems good and the prices are also good!
Very tasty food, the place is so beautiful! You will get great photos in this place. But the best part is the costumer care. Highly recommended. Vegetarian options: The vegetable pho is amazing.
Walked in because it looked cool with the colours and the diner vibes. Went to the back where you order and noticed the menu was asian food which was a surprise. I tried to order the chicken and shrimp with rice plate and was told they’re out of rice after checking for five min. Felt kind of sus but went ahead and ordered two bubble teas which honestly were pretty fire. Weird place but I’d for sure shoot a music video in there.
Very nice and friendly service. The Cogo is delicious, although the sauce on the side might be insufficient. The wonton cocktail things are a bit disappointing and feel more like something a child will create with cold corn and shrimps. But has a lot of potential and will visit again to try other things
Had the traditional banh mi and fried fish balls. The sandwich was great; fresh and pickled veggies with cold cuts and a nice gravy like sauce, with a very crisp demi-baguette. The fish balls were not bad but the sauce was not my preference; I guess I just like the curry version at Chinese places more. Great interior decor; retro Americana diner style, which surprised me when I saw the menu was Viet.
