Great staff! They are very kind and generous, don't be shy if you are a beginner. I had zero experience and they helped me alot with my choice of yarn and needle. Also great variation of yarn available in store and online.
I ordered additional wool for a project that I'd run out of. This was the week between Christmas and New Years. The package arrived so quickly! The wool was perfect, wrapped in tissue, with a thank you note and some candy! This is why we buy local, and Urban Yarns is now my go-to for my supplies.
Huge shout out to Johanathan for helping us shopping for yarn today. This store has a great selection to choose from, and everyone in the store is incredibly knowledgeable and helpful when it comes to picking out the perfect skeins for a project. We were even able to ask about where the yarns were sourced and manufactured from so we could hit that perfect balance of buying as locally as possible. Highly recommend shopping here for that alone, everything else is a great cherry on top. I also recommend checking out the online store, too! Great if you're not in the area!
I was so excited to call and find out that not only did they have the colour of yarn I needed but the same dye lot. I had bought 4 skeins at another store in a different city for a project then changed my mind. Dye lot gods were on my side. Savannah was a delight to deal with. I ordered late Wednesday and received early this morning Saturday in Calgary. Highly recommend this store and Savannah! Thank you!
Had the pleasure of visiting this LYS while in Vancouver. The staff were very knowledgeable and super helpful. Loved purchasing yarn here to add to my travel stash.
