I walk into the store to look for and buy a concealer. I ask the shop assistant at the entrance if she can call someone to help me. A girl comes over and helps me choose the shade of a specific brand I had already been eyeing. I ask her for advice on the texture and coverage of the product, and she suggests another brand… So far, so good… But when I ask her for the price of what she proposed and, after specifying that my budget was lower, she seemed highly annoyed and quickly dismissed me by saying, “what I had chosen was fine, and if I needed her, she would be around.” It felt like a rushed response, as if she didn’t want to waste time with me… too bad for her because it wouldn’t have been the only product I wanted to buy. In fact, I later approached “Nikki” I think that’s her name, who helped me with another product, and she was super patient, sweet, and kind!nI understand that a sales assistant’s job is to sell as much as possible, but they need to accept all types of customers and not underestimate someone right from the start… especially because, in my opinion, assisted selling means satisfying the customer’s every little request. The first assistant didn’t do that I could have done it myself, but Nikki was very understanding, and I think she perfectly understood how to work in this environment.
It is my personal experience, so please do not feel offended. I was at the store to purchase cosmetics for my trip to India. I just walked into the store and within the first 5 minutes at least 6 representatives approached me and asked me if I need help.I explained each time that I am good for now, I am browsing at the moment, I will let you know if I need help. It was my first time at the store, and their treatment made me feel very uncomfortable. When I take a left or right, the representatives startled me with their superior service. My purpose of visiting the store was to check out the products and check the rates online and study how it differs. I got my items without help, for which I am fine with. Then supervisors are very much focused in their job that they do not care if the customer gets the right away in the aisle. Till staff are not welcoming at all, no greeting and no smiles, just wants me to pay for my things and get out. I had a terrible experience overall.I was asked if I need help at least 15 times before I left the store. There was a lady staff who was about 45 yrs old or something who explained about lip plumbing treatment very politically and kindly. There were staff who choose kindness over judging.
Great big Sephora location that’s easy to navigate! As always, the staff are friendly and helpful, and the store carries a wide variety of cosmetics and fragrances. It’s well kept and clean, offering a pleasant shopping experience!
Will definitely be coming back to this location instead of the Metrotown one. Morgan was really helpful in assisting me to find the right shade. She went above and beyond to ensure that I had the right one. I really appreciate her help and will come back because of her!
Lots of great, friendly people here.nnMaria is an amazing brow artist. I’ve never had any work done on my eyebrows before, but she was super welcoming and did a great job with them.
