Staples is a convenient place to pick up office supplies, electronics, and printing services all in one visit. The store is usually well organized, making it easy to find what I need, and the staff have always been friendly when I've had questions. Some items are priced a little higher than online retailers, but the convenience and reliable customer service make it a worthwhile stop.
I ordered a same day calendar print yesterday and was emailed to go pick it up today. the colour was completely off, no yellow tones at all. the staff was not helpful at all, and reprinted for an hour with different computer settings, even though the problem was clearly with the printer itself. they then said it was an issue with the file, even though the file was displaying completely fine on their monitor. they also made empty promises like “this will get resolved today”. at the end they ran a test on the printer to assess ink levels, showing that the printer had a problem. that was clearly the issue from the beginning. they apologized eventually for not being able to solve the problem. finally i asked for a refund, then changed my mind and asked them to send the print job to staples downtown. staples downtown printed the order immediately without problem.nnin short, complete lack of problem solving, empty promises, waste of time, waste of paper, and inability to think critically wasted 2 hours of a busy pre-holiday weekend. if youre looking to print at staples, id recommend going to another location. wont be returning.nnthe attached photo is the original painting with the correct colour. the video is what printed from their machine. the video was not edited at all.
There was one employee by himself in the shipping department and a bunch of people standing around doing nothing on the other half of the store. I was helped relatively quickly despite understaffing in the shipping department. I frequently use the shipping department and printing services at this location. It often or always appears that there is over staffing in the front and understaffing in the shipping department. The staff in the front of the store never greet customers on their way in or out of the store. The staff at the front of the store stand around doing nothing but scrolling on their phones.
I had a disappointing experience at Staples North Vancouver.nnI waited over 20 minutes in line with a large number of customers and only one staff member assisting. When I inquired about additional support, I was told by Soha the store was short-staffed, which appears to be an ongoing issue at this location. After raising my concern, the employee declined to assist me further, and there was no manager available to address the situation.nnThis location would benefit from improved staffing and stronger customer service support, particularly for shipping and returns. I would appreciate a follow-up from management regarding this experience.
Most lazy incompetent staff I have ever seen. There is no one in the store except me I go in and pick out a very $$$ router and an extender. Ask guy if they have Ethernet cables. “Uhhh it’s over that wall” goes back to do doing nothing they aren’t over the wall. When I am going to pay though wants to grab the sale so bad and try and upsell me a warranty… realizes the expensive router isn’t in the box has to goto the front to get it out of a safe? Other staff stands around talking in Indian with my box for 5 minutes before walking in the back to I guess get it. They completely disappear while the guy behind the counter is watching videos on his phone with the speaker on not doing anything. The guy never seems to come back so I end up just leaving. Screw this place never again and I live 2 blocks away.
