Urban Fare

I love Urban Fare's fresh ingredients and I know that I can always get fresh herbs, veggies and fruit when I go there. Urban Fare offers premade, hot food, pizza, buffet salad, Asian food, coffee/tea bars and more. They have a full butcher counter with fresh and cooked food. Their cheese selection is amazing as well as the fresh flower kiosk. Did I mention they have a Starbucks too? THEN you have the actual store! They are a bit more expensive then traditional main stream grocery centres but as you step inside you feel the difference. Urban Fare offers a rewards program and has plenty of specials. It takes a lot of fortitude to walk past their dessert section without actually buying a sumptuous delight! Great selection and delicious food. Mert was amazing and very helpful. He saw that no one was at the buffet register and walked from the other side of the store to assist us. A+ service!!!

Wow! Joined my sister and brother-in-law for happy hour bites. My nephew and his girlfriend also showed up. Raj was great! He was working alone and took care of us and at least 5 other tables. He was welcoming and attentive. The food was lovely. The vibe is really cool. A real treat.

Have always had superb service from this grocery store! Friendly staff, good selection and would especially like to give thanks to the security staff who are always looking to make peoples days better and are VERY helpful too!! Great place to shop.

I would not recommend this store to anyone. When I had asked to speak to the grocery manager, I was told he was asleep in the back office and they didn't want to wake him up, and to speak to someone else. The other store management wasn't any help either. This store presents itself as a higher end, luxury grocery store with "items from around the world, and around the corner". This is ridiculous. They upsell everything to where I'd rather just go somewhere else. And the atmosphere is dead. All staff look miserable, not seemingly wanting to help me find items. I have been redirected to multiple different employees just to find my way to a single item. They seem to constantly bring in new staff but aren't able to keep them. The store layout isn't intuitive at all and myself and other customers who aren't regulars here have difficulty navigating a ridiculous tight spaces of the isles, or navigating a cart into the checkout lane from the produce section. This is only made worse by the cylinder displays in these isles making navigation even worse. To the point where I've watched employees struggle even. This is absolutely appalling and seeing all these 1 stars and nothing has been done about it is truly ridiculous. I have been telling friends not to shop here and myself will no longer be a customer of this store.

The prices for things are ridiculous. Like $17 for orange juice... just another example of a store that has raised prices but probably kept their workers at the same wage. Maybe this store should check with its customers whether playing Christmas music starting in early November is really a wise way to keep people coming back. Truly awful music selection, to the point where I will be shopping elsewhere whenever possible

Cute convenient store with lots of ready to grab and go meals! With some yummy and healthy options. I enjoyed their chicken quinoa soup and Asian bowl!

I was at Urban Fare right after having cortisone injections for pain in both thumbs, and attempting to put a 1.4 l glass bottle of liquid in my basket and pick it up off the floor, when the Security Guard Randy immediately offered his help to carry my basket to the till. Vish had my flowers wrapped and checked my items through the till. Now that's great customer service. Thank you both.
