Kawa (pronounced Ka'va) is Polish for coffee, an ode to Les and Ottilia's love of quality traditional style coffee. In addition, there's a fabulous array of beer, wine, decadent desserts and an amazing food menu.

We at Kawa pride ourselves on extraordinary coffee sparing no expense, offering an all organic and authentic European coffee experience for all of your senses.
We brew a variety of coffee selections, a full menu, decadent desserts and now also offering a selection of fine Wine and Beer, live music and we are open late!

The Macha Latte here is excellent! I highly recommend that you dine in here if you can because you will get served with a huge bowl! The staff here are pretty friendly and very efficient. The dining area is quite large so there shouldn't be any problem finding a seat. Take advantage of the patio seating outside. Their sandwiches and other gourmet delights also taste amazing and always hit the spot. They even have amazing perogies and sausage! I can't wait to try more of theor meal features. It is great to see this shop always humming with business.
Nice place, has lots of different kinds of food, and not too badly overpriced. Great service, was extremely quick even though the place was busy. I had the avocado toast, extreme toffee frappe, and espresso, and all of them were excellent. It’s unique to Calgary in that it has good quality food and a nice atmosphere, but isn’t flooded with aesthetic-searching people. I’d recommend this cafe! Also if you want to make sure you get a table, you can book a reservation:
I give 3 stars because I didn't like their espresso, it was very fruity, but others might. All their coffee is fruity floral based. So if you like that kind of coffee, you will love here
Went here for a meeting and was not expecting them to also serve food which I must say was delicious. Not many places serve perogies or do it well so kudos to them. On the coffee side could be a little better but overall a solid experience.Recommended dishesPerogies and Sausage
Great place to have a breakfast. Staffs were professional and enthusiastic. Coffee was nice. Panini looked compelling and tasted amazing. Love it.
A real coffee house experience/vibe, that you must make the effort to try! Great food, coffee, along with excellent service...the lamb shank is delicious and half the price of most restaurants and the latte is done expertly...
As the saying goes, if you can't smile, don't open a shop. I am régular customer Every time I order espresso macchiato its perfect and the iced white mocha its really disaster taste and presentation . Today I'm just inform the coffee maker or barista the guy i told him, and he gave me very Bad answer. You do not know anything about coffe .. I don't care about money i like this place but this guy make me angry every time . The barista lady was so nice and professional but this guy is so bad and he don't know how to deal with customer complain .... i'm so sorry about my review but i will never visit any more kawa Espresso bar. me and all my friends.. THANK'S
Im regular customer here but the guy work at front call me blind cause i have glasses And using curse words Even people over there look at me I didn’t say anything wrong I simply ask hey today just two of you mostly working 3 people with nice smile Honestly i went there with my other two friends it was clearly mental breakdown he insult me like this Even after this I didn’t say anything i just simply walk out But honestly worst experience ever please people have so many things to deal with and no body deserves disrespect Be very careful who you hire I was sitting in my car and crying i never had this type of experience before anywhere.. I’m sorry I can’t write more even right now I’m crying while writing this review.. I’m sorry but please don’t do this with anyone ever

Cafe niko is very unique. It’s so good always! My favorite at Kawa.
