This is my favourite yarn store anywhere because it sells such a wide range of yarns, at various price points. Everything is nicely displayed, and the staff is helpful and very friendly. I only get to Courtenay once or twice a year but when I do, I always head to this store and only with incredible willpower do I manage to get away without buying something. Lovely yarns, and something for everybody.

Only purchased from here a few times now but each and every time the service had been beyond most LYS On Vancouver island in mentioning I had a broken needle purchased from another LYS there was no problem in having Jen the stores owner tell me "next time you come in bring it and I will replace it" I mentioned again I had not purchased it there but again she assured me she would take care of the matter and that as a valued customer she was more than pleased to help Knowing after sales service is there makes a big difference Anyone can sell you something when you are in the mood to buy especial to us knitters . We do love our stash,but it is the following through , the after sales, knowing the store knows your name or at least your face and gets to know what colours and styles and price range like old friends shopping together spending time not just dollars purchasing what you want and how much you want to spend with expert help reading and choosing the right pattern Thank you lovely lady for a wonderful time again in your store The yarn working well for the felted slippers love the beautiful stitch markers the yarn the needles everything to help make the ferry crossing injoyable Marie landry
