Their website is not up to date. I waited 30 minutes on the phone just to be told something they should’ve put online: that they are not accepting new patients. That alone would constitute a three-star review, but what really pushed them down to a one-star was the rude, superior, and insulting attitude of their staff on the phone. They clearly couldn’t care less about you. Would recommend they give some better training on how to politely answer a phone.
I gave them 1 star - Faculty of Dentistry- Children Clinic, I went there with my child for appointments and it because according to the city of Toronto’s website “For Low income” we expect to pay less. Before the procedure was done I told the doctor that our budget is $100 - I inquired before registering my child the lady who answered the phone told me $20 to $70. The doctor told me she has to see the manager first and talked to the black lady with a cane who is the manager, manager called me and told me that they cannot proceed with the procedure because the amount of the procedure will cost us $120, and I don’t have that amount. So they cancel our appointments and I was told to talk to the receptionist and tell her no service charge and cancel the appointment. The receptionist who has a Europian accent and a middle age lady told me “mam nothing in this world is free” I was so shocked about what she told me! What the heck did she think we came there for free? I am so hurt about it! We have money but its not enough, all she can do is cancel and end of the story! No need to insult us! That receptionist should explain to the clients after registration very well the fact about first time patient and then the procedure to be done. The cost. That receptionist is just lucky that she has a full time job and a benefits. Karma will come to her ONE DAY!
Would give zero stars if I could. Cut me senior cancer patient mother off as a patient due to having to cancel appointments for cancer treatments and COVID cancellations.
I Would give zero stars if I could. They never answer the phone. Horrible service.
