Below is the email that I wrote to the Marketing, Strategy and Entrepreneurship Department Chair, Mr. Brent and the School's Integrity. Still no response from them. You will have a lot of unfairness while studying at this school. Hello Mr. Brent,nI am writing to respectfully express my concern regarding the lack of consistency in teaching and assessment methods within the department.nnCurrently, different instructors follow very different approaches to curriculum delivery and student evaluation. For example, in Professor Amir’s course Strategic management MGMT 661-HBD-Winter26-25, students are required to complete weekly OGL proctored quizzes consisting of approximately 82 main questions, each with multiple sub-questions. This results in more than 300 questions in a three-hour exam, which exceeds OGL hours. In addition to these online quizzes, there is also a mandatory in-person exam held in class every week. This workload is extremely demanding and goes beyond what is reasonable for a single course.nnAt the same time, other instructors in the same department primarily assign projects and homework with significantly lighter evaluation methods. As a result, students in the same program experience very different levels of academic pressure.nnThis inconsistency creates an unfair learning environment and does not provide equal opportunities for students to succeed. I respectfully request that the department review its assessment policies and consider implementing clearer guidelines to ensure fairness and balance across all courses.nnThank you for taking the time to consider this matter. I had a very positive experience applying and registering at University Canada West, thanks to the exceptional support of Durga Shyamala Garaga, Student Support Officer Sr. Associate. She followed up with me almost weekly and was always timely, organized, and responsive. Durga ensured that I completed and uploaded documents efficiently, and stayed on track throughout the entire process. Beyond the administrative guidance, she consistently reassured me that everything would be okay, which made a potentially stressful process much easier to manage. Her professionalism, dedication, and genuine support truly stood out, and I am very grateful for her assistance.
