I don't know where are those negative reviews come from. But to us, the staffs are very friendly, helpful and polite. Although the waiting time is a little long for each case, I believe they are just trying to do their job properly. My mom's appointment is 10am, I was allowed to accompany her for interview due to her hearing issue. It took us two hours to complete the process (immigration visa). Most of the time is waiting for second officer to talk to us. Very positive impression.

hello To all of you. Not too long ago then last week july 11-2017, i have been to the Consulate. The service was outstanding. I got there 20 to 25 minutes earlier. I was received by a very friendly and professional group of people. prior to my interview there, i went to the consulate rate and Review page and after reading a dozen of review i have said to myself, if it was not for the interview i would not have gone to that place. But went i got there, and saw the way they received me, i asked a security lady : Why in the world people wrote some tough reviews to justify their bad experience here? She said, Sr. I don't know. I went upstairs and i recalled that i have spent about 1hrs 30 minutes upstairs and then i was done. So my advise to you people who have your interview at that location, get all your documents ready and everything is going to be ok by the grace of God. Leave your bags and cellphones at home or in your car, more stuff you have on you, the harder your situation is going to be. Peace and good luck to you all.

My interview was at 9am, I arrived early and was out within less than an hour. All of my documents were in order, which aided in speeding up the process. All of the staff members that I encountered were very kind and courteous. The officer that conducted my interview welcomed me to the United States at the end of my interview. No complaints here! As long as you have all of your required documents and abide by the Consulate guidelines, you should be fine.

Not professional at all, they don't know what they doing, special the consuls even you have all your legal documents to re-enter to United States they will reject your request, I have my travel document to re-enter and my Temporary Protected Status, driver license my social security from USCIS, I showed him everything, I want to request for a visitor visa because I am planning to go to vacation with my hubby my documents are almost expired (22-07-2017). We both working and I am a student at Foubourg in Montreal, the consul told me I wasn't supposed to leave the country, are you serious! Is that a reason to be rejected? First of all it's not the first time I left the country I went to Mexico with my husband in 2015 I re-enter at the airport Miami without any problem, it's because that consul don't know what his doing he's not professional even he asked me for my documents from USCIS he told me they are not good really? They are original I showed him my social security my work permit. Maybe He was on training they should review my files. That's unfair, I am a married woman, so you want me to live without my husband? Unfortunately I couldn't help him to be a resident of United States because I had TPS like I said before, but him he's a Canadian citizen He can help me to be legal in Canada and he has a very good job in Canada. Anyway the only thing I regret is the day I've been requested at work 1 month before and my $214 I wasted for nothing I should give that money to the sick children. This consul is very unprofessional there's no reason for me to be rejected because I am still legal to United States.
