Yes we ended up buying from another store but this place is highly recommended. The salesman spent enough time with us explaining and answering all our questions. They carry a good collection and many are available ready for pickup.
Delivery same day, cheaper than Ikea when it comes to sofas. They have great clearance deals, it is absolutely a must check. Oh BTW, staff is extremely nice and helpful Check out the photos
Our family went here a few weeks ago looking for a couch and love seat set. Greeted by friendly staff ready and willing to assist you. We had a few good options to choose from of their wide selection. The Ashley Signature Series set we went with was an excellent choice. Though only the sofa was in stock we wanted the love seat also and Justin the store manager stepped up to the plate and went above and beyond to meet our request. We got a great set at an excellent price and on top of that same night delivery. Hard to beat that. Minor issue with the love seat but Justin took care of that immediately. They stand behind what they sell. Excellent experience all around. If you need furniture at a reasonable price then be sure to check them out. Thanks Justin and team!
Had a great experience from entering the store to drop off of my new furniture! Initially spoke with Ardi who helped me find what I needed. The only slight disappointment was that the delivery guys had me dispose of a car full of cardboard - not sure if that’s included with the delivery fee or not though, I didn’t think ask. Spoke with Mike two days later when I thought a piece was missing piece was stored inside of recliners.. who knew. Then had another excellent customer service experience asking more questions when Justin answered. Overall friendly staff! I’d recommend to anyone, plus pricing is reasonable!
The staff here are great. We had a warranty claim and they helped us navigate the maze of figuring it out. Got to the store for pick up half an hour before they opened but they still offered to help me out and had me signed off, loaded and on my way before their posted opening time. The only issue we had was with the warranty company third party and I don't hold it against these guys at all. Next time we are looking at furniture, this will be our first and likely last stop!
The staff are very friendly and courteous. The products are good and pricing is also okay comparatively. The manager at this place is absolutely money oriented and greedy person. Zero professional skills. Luckily he has great staff who actually knows how to behave professionally with customers.
The manager of this store has absolutely ZERO customer service skills and is always yelling at customers when we come in the store. The owner or the district manager need to know about this guy’s behavior towards customers and should send him immediately to a training program on how to deal with customers. ………. I came this morning to the Surplus furniture store located at 3420-12th St. N.E to pick-out some new furniture to refurnish our house. As soon as my wife and I walked in the store, we observed the manager being disrespectful to customers and was yelling at them. The worker who was walking with us tried to steer our attention away from what was happening the worker clearly knew what was happening is not in the best interest of the store. We were actually quite surprised how much customer service skills he lacked. We picked-out and bought our furniture for a total of $3700; when we got it delivered, everything was perfect except one part of the couch which was too tall to fit through the door , this part was 93” while our ceiling is also 93”. So fitting it through the door was impossible; we had called the store and they suggested to return it to the store and return once more to pick-out another couch. When we went back the second time we chose a different couch that had clearance on it which cost $1500 which was $700 less than the old one its previous cost was $2200. The store manager was unpolite and unrespectful for yelling at my wife and I saying that there is no refund and that we should go with the new one that costs $2200 and not the clearance one. We tried to speak politely while he was being angry and yelling loudly. I asked him to speak in a more respectful tone, or I would escalate, and he replied that there is no one I can speak with except himself “I’m THE MANAGER HERE!”. We were looking to go for the clearance one and didn’t want to go with new one, so that we could save $700. The policy of the company is fine but his attitude and behavior was unacceptable and ultimately paints a bad image about the company. He kept on yelling, being and unprofessional, and disrespectful sayingwe can only give store credit while he was shouting at us sone co-workers quickly ran toward us thinking there was a fight. This “manager” has ZERO customer service skills, he is so money hungry and doesn’t care about the customers. I don’t recommend anyone to buy furniture from this store until they have him trained again or hire a real manager, one that is polite and respectful to customers and prioritizes customer satisfaction and services above anything else. I don’t think the owner or the responsible people who are above him aware of the corruption that is going on . I believe this manager needs to attend a special program that teach him a good customer service, how to improve his negotiation skills and how to practice active listening. I would recommend the owner or the district manager to read the bad reviews on him and do quick change if they consider the customer service in high priority. Finally, please don’t ignore our feedback.
There isn’t a 0 so I guess one is fine. I initially purchased a couch for an apartment. A week before I moved they called to tell me I couldn’t have the couch I wanted. So after fighting over that I finally asked for a refund. They weren’t able to put it on my card so I asked for a cheque. After waiting 10 WEEKS after being told 6-8. I get a call saying they have yet to issue the cheque at all. I was belittled in the store by a manager, he made me cry to a point I had to leave. I will NEVER recommend this store to anyone. The absolute worst experience I’ve ever had.
I bought $2000 furniture from surplus warehouse Regina location. After purchase I found my furniture defective. I talk to store manager regarding my purchase. They did not replace my furniture. I lost furniture money as well as third party Insurance money I am requesting each customer please do not buy any furniture from surplus furniture Regina location because they are selling low quality furniture, poor Customer service from store manager Riyaz , not helpful after purchase. If you buy furniture from this surplus furniture Regina location , just wasting money.
Absolutely awesome customer service provided by the staff members. We bought furniture with reasonable prices from there as we had great experience few years ago here too. Particularly Ardy- a gentleman who works there was friendly and knew when to approach us and when to leave us alone to decide. Pat on the back to him providing excellent service. I’d for sure recommend this place.
