A Japanese-style cake shop.nnThe Japanese have a long tradition of making Western-style pastries, to the point that they’ve developed their own distinct style. I remember seeing a very similar brand back when I was living in Shanghai. Later, there were claims of copyright issues, and it gradually faded from the spotlight—I haven’t seen it much since.nnThis shop is strictly takeout, with no seating area. They mainly specialize in cheesecake, offered in both warm and cold versions. I’ve tried both, and at most I once bought three of each.nnThe counter is transparent, and every time a batch comes out of the oven, the cakes are boxed up in groups right away.nnVery good quality—I’ve already been here four times.
Even before I reach the building, the the rich aroma fills the air. This place may be tiny, but very famous. This year, my parents came twice and now it’s our third time this year. Also, both times they bought 12 cakes for both our family and friends. Don’t underestimate these fluffy cakes because the bites are rich with flavor. The staff are amazing and handle situations very well. I can see that they also put lots of effort into their cheesecakes. They offer a variety of cheesecakes, madeleines, angel hats, cheese tarts, and rusks. I would recommend to try the original cheesecakes before trying the others.
This place has always been a favorite for us when we visit the area. Their cheese cakes are so fluffy and definitely taste the best when they’re fresh. But even after refrigerating it’s still really good. Definitely recommend giving them a try, they do have other options like tarts but I’m just here for the cheesecake
I love their cheesecake and cheese tart. Now they have strawberry flavour too. I genuinely like the smell which can be smell from outside of the shop. Cheesecake melt in your mouth. Not too sugary just perfect.
Always a delight to have an uncle tetsu cheesecake. This time I tried their Yuzu one and tbh it tasted very close to the original. Very faint tartness which may be what the flavour profile was supposed to be but it missed its mark this time. Still the original and their madeleine are very good. Warm the madeleine in the microwave for 15 secs though.
