UBC Robson Square

We went ice skating at Robson square after Christmas. It was quite crowded. The queue to get the skates was quite long but moving. Was $5 per skate rental and 25c if u needed a locker. You can get a blue plastic thing for support, if u need it, but they're limited and lots of demand. It was fun. wheelchair accessible, you have to climb down lots of steps but there is a ramp too in-between the steps.

Great experience! My husband is blind and hard of hearing, the staff was friendly, welcoming and compassionate. An instructor took him skating, they did a few laps together and he loved it!

I visited the place yesterday, bot only that I visited the same in Dec, 2018, stayed beside Robson Street, amazing place providing spirituality, amusement & creativity.

It was definitely very lively but also very busy. Good place to hang out on first dates or with family and friends. I see myself spending some time there trying out ice skating and then heading to one of the near by restaurants for drink or dinner some evening again.

Robson square court complex for provincial courts is a very well run entity. The sheriffs who provide assistance in finding court rooms are friendly and very knowledgeable about the judges and court calendars. They are eager to offer assistance and will go out of their way to answer queries or questions about the complex and its many court rooms and conference spaces. The entire place is wheelchair accessable and the parking can be easily accessed in the underground parking complex beneath the square. This is a great place to bring kids to provide them with a tour of the court complex and I would give this place five stars all around. Check it out 9 am to 5 PM Monday through Friday closed on statutory holidays.

It's a pass through spot that has heavy foot traffic and lot of organizations use the place to pitch, no pan handlers observed.... common for protests. Not much of gardens or greenery and has a glum feel about the place like gum stuck to your shoe. So walk fast and get to somewhere else.

Awesome place to ice skate and also pretty cheap skating rentals if you don’t have your own skates !

This place has soo much going on all the time. Winter skating, shopping booths, great people and atmosphere. There is a beautiful waterfall fountain and lots of food carts. Surrounded by old architecture it is amazing.

Multiple activities along year. Awesome for family or friends gathering. I use to go there for salsa dancing... Good place to make friends...
