U.S. Bank ATM - Anoka

I had a check to deposit, the weather was nice, and this is only 7 miles round-trip, so I decided to bike there. It looked like the drive-through only had pneumatic tubes, and since my account isn't with US Bank, I'm guessing they wouldn't be able to handle my deposit. I didn't bring my bike lock, but left the bike outside (despite seedy characters nearby) and went in to see if there was an ATM there (and if there was, I was hoping that THIS one would accept deposits, since the last two US Bank locations I tried last month after hours didn't). I didn't see an ATM. The only machine that looked accessible to the public was a coin counting machine. There were three tellers working, so I decided to ask if there was an ATM that I just couldn't see. Each teller was waiting on a 100 year old lady customer, none of which seemed to be doing any banking business--just chatting about their grandchildren. After about 5 minutes, one old lady left, and the teller immediately closed the teller window and left, despite seeing that I was waiting for the next open teller. After another 5 minutes, another old lady left, and again the teller immediately closed the teller window and walked away (to handle someone at the drive-through, apparently, since she came back carrying a cylinder from the drive-through tube--making it obvious she didn't want anyone to interrupt her. After a few more minutes, the first teller that had walked away had wandered back and asked if she could help me. I asked if they had an ATM that accepted check deposits. She just stared at me for what seemed to be forever, but was probably only 10 seconds, and then said that the drive-through land closest to the building had one if you go past the window a ways. I went back outside and was glad to see my bike was still there. I was also elated that US Bank had upgraded this ATM to accept both cash and checks for deposit without an envelope (or deposit slip) unlike the one I used each of the last two times I was in Moorhead, MN. Remind me not to open an account at US Bank (unless I think I'll never had to talk to anyone inside the building).
