Used this salon for a wedding at the Mill. We had a party of 5 plus bride and 2 moms through for hair and makeup in under 3hours. ALL the girls loved their hair and had fun at the salon. Chelsea did my hair and it was PERFECT. Better than I envisioned. How often do you say that about an up-do?! Most impressively, she was able to carry on a really nice chat with me and keep me cheery while I tended to my 5mo old and fielded calls from confused groomsmen about flowers haha we were offered coffees and teas and it is a nice place. I docked a star because the brides hair trial was awful!!! It was done by somebody covering for another stylist that didn’t do up-dos. Lesson learned I think to reschedule instead of winging it... was very stressful for the bride. In the end though, great experience and success for the bridal party! Both hair and makeup.

The staff are always very sweet and take their time with each customer. The location and atmosphere is beautiful and comfortable, however, parking is a little annoying as there aren’t many spaces available.

**Update** I have never been treated so rudely in my entire life. Their system was down to put credit/debit payment through. It was super awkward at the cash as I was not given options on how to pay. So I offered to write a cheque as I don't carry that much cash on me. Brima looked at me and said "are you good for it", I felt like a second class citizen.  Wow talk about not caring about keeping customers. Get a better payment system and perhaps some tact! 

First time was today and it won't be my last. This is the best salon in Cambridge! You are made to feel at home by the warm, friendly staff. And they really listen to ensure you get the result you want within what is possible! Can't wait to go back!

I was at UBU last week for bridal party hair and makeup. I was so extremely happy with my makeup done by Danielle. She did an amazing job, I got so many compliments on my makeup that day. She did exactly what I wanted and made excellent suggestions. I am not picky so I agreed to her suggestions and I'm so glad I did. I can't wait to go back next time I need professional makeup done. Danielle will definitely be my first choice when it comes time for my own wedding.
