Two Lakes Camping Area

Such a wonderful campground!!! If you are looking for the perfect camping experience with family and friends this is the place for you! They are super pet friendly. My fur babies love the clean, sandy beach designated just for them. The fishing and kayaking is next level! While relaxing on the people beach I enjoyed breathtaking sunsets and friendly company, all while watching the bald eagles soar over the lake.There's so many fun activities to take part in for all ages. It truly is a wonderful place to spend some great quality family time.

Three years ago a friend introduced me to Two Lakes, and I happened to visit on Lobster Weekend (more about this later). We had so much fun that we immediately made plans to return the following year for the same weekend. We just got home from what has become an annual trip for us now. It's obvious that many people have been coming here for years, and with good reason. Everyone immediately makes you feel welcomed and like family. In addition, there is something here for everyone...peace and quiet? Check. Private sites? Check. Incredible sunsets over the lake? Check. Boating and swimming? Check. Places to bike and hike? Check. Planned activities? Check - we even won a round of BINGO! Cooked to order breakfast? Check. Immaculate bathrooms? Check. I could go on, but let me just comment on the main reason we pick the lobster weekend. Where else can you get a twin lobster dinner for $21 or a steak dinner for $14? My steak was so tender that I could cut it with the plastic butter knife! Our meals also included a healthy serving of potato salad, coleslaw, corn on the cob with melted butter, roll and butter, watermelon, coffee, lemonade, ice tea, and - if you had room after all that - a throwback to my childhood - a Hoodsie-like ice cream cup. I can't compliment the group of volunteers enough who planned, organized, cooked, served, and cleaned up after the event. (One of the owners gave a really nice thank you speech at the end for them since the volunteers run the whole event.) Everything was really efficient, organized, and dinner was served hot. We've stayed at various campgrounds from D.C. up to the White Mountains, including Normandy Farms in Foxboro, and have not enjoyed the hospitality and coziness we come back for each year. Looking forward to our fourth visit next year!

Great little campground. Rentals for water fun, stuff for kids to do. Group sites are a plus. Quiet little cozy spot on a lake, prices are good too. Only complaint is the narrow road coming in, can get sketchy. Other than that, cool place for sure.

The old owners were way better then the new ones. New ones find every which way to charge you. New owners don't care as much as the old ones, especially with people's belongings.

My husband and I recently stayed a week at Two Lakes Camping Area in Oxford, ME. The campground was very well maintained and is set on a beautiful lake with some of the BEST sunsets! Your able to rent kayaks or even a paddle boat to explore the two lakes and a series of canals that connect them. We found the staff to be very friendly and accommodating. The bathrooms were very clean, and it was nice to have hot showers available 24-7! It's a very peaceful spot to un-plug and enjoy the wilderness surrounding you. Wi-Fi is available for those who need it. Also lots of family fun activities! We can't wait to go back next summer!
