Came here on Monday and we were the only Guest.we did take our travel trailer with us it was a little difficult to drive with a trailer, took me almost 3 hours to finish last 34K, but only took me 1 1/2 hour drive back. Ray is very nice and helpful. Views are super. I am so grateful the I mistakenly booked here.will come back again for sure.
20 mile bay is a great spot in the area of Harrison lake west side. The Forest service road was very well maintained, the last 2 Km was a little bumpy. The water during this time is pretty warm, the wind is pretty strong south facing side of campgrounds so north facing campgrounds had a lot less wind. Campground has outhouses but no facilities, campsites are clean and well mainted. Camp host was very kind and friendly. It is cash only, and you can book 30 days in advance for a campsite. Overall great area, perfect for dogs and kids to swim and have fun and even adults !!! I would definitely come back!
REC SITE, mostly reserved, but there were a few spots left to pick. Some of the sites are too close together with little to no privacy. It's fairly well taken care of fairly clean wash rooms. Bring your own toilet paper tho! Firewood for sell is $12 a bundle and adds up fast. They sold out on us.
If you like wilderness and want to get away from it all, this is the place to go. Thrifty-five km down a logging road though, so take it easy and you'll get there without issues. Camp host is the best! Most sites have water views too. Reservations are recommended.
Had an amazing time at Twenty Mile Bay with my family. We went on Father's Day weekend. We were fortunate that the weather was great and we had fun hiking and kayaking. However our drive to the campsite was rocky. Unlike majority of other campers, we took our Sienna mini van over and under the mountain. No flat tires thankfully. It definitely is rocky so, we had to go 20km through.
Definitely one of my top 3 camping spots. This campground has amazing view of the lake, it's secluded and well kept.
Honestly one of the most beautiful places I've camped. The staff were super friendly, the water was actually pretty decent too! No fire ban as of yet, so go out and roast those marshmallows, folks!!
Perfect place for paddleboarding and stuff like that, nice to camp on the beach, but parking camping is not the best—very dusty road.
Great campsite. Lots of potholes on the way up around 34km marker. Can be very windy here. Outhouses were always well stocked. Firewood available to buy from camp host. Water levels were very high. Day use was flooded as of 2020 July 1st.
Loved this campground. It’s about 35 km down a logging road. A little bumpy, but we didn’t have any trouble with it in my VW Golf. Took us about an hour and a half. Just make sure you have enough gas. Definitely worth it!
