Turtle Jack's Erin Mills

Recently visited this location which use to be one that I would visit often before. However, this last visit wasn't the greatest. A packed restaurant and we opted to have dinner at the bar area. If we knew this would mean feeling like we were an inconvenience to the waitress, we would have gone elsewhere. We had the bartender service us and she did not enjoy it at all. Even asked for drink recommendation and it seemed like she didn't even know the drinks drinks weren't great either. Even when we wanted to order coffee and dessert it was like torture for our server. We had to ask other servers to assist when we needed something as we weren't really checked on. The only thing that was good was the food. To say, we would visit this location again, is very unlikely. 3 stars was based on food alone. What a shame to see a place we would often visit, have service go down. Going forward, it is best to have proper staff in place and if short staff, don't fill all the tables and kindly ask guests to wait if they would like. This way staff are not overwhelmed and guests will have a better experience.

We visited over the weekend and got the ribs and wings + coconut curry. Both delicious! Our server, Natasha, was wonderful and very friendly! We look forward to coming back. Thank you! :

Had lunch at Turtle Jack's last weekend and I enjoyed my power bowl very much. My family also enjoyed the panto coated fresh pickerel plate. I wish I asked our server's name because he is the reason this review is 5 stars! He was fantastic and very attentive to our needs. Thank you!

Awesome dinner at Turtle Jack's. My family use to order take out every Friday from the old Meadowvale location. Now we enjoy visiting Erin Mills to dine in. Our server Heron was amazing from start to finish. Such a pleasure to have him serve us and remember all the details of our request. His genuine kindness and pleasant personality is lovely. Food was soo good..we are looking forward to returning again soon.

I was really looking forward to some comforting soup as I’m starting to feel under the weather, and Turtle Jack’s has always been a go-to for good food and atmosphere. However, I was quite disappointed with the soup I ordered. Despite ordering a full portion, it arrived in a size that seemed more like a side the mashed potatoes were a side for the Kids menu. If I had known, I would have chosen a full meal and added the soup as a side, especially given the price, which made me expect a more generous serving.nnUnfortunately, the taste didn’t improve the experience. The soup was mostly watery, with one piece of beef and the rest being fatty scraps. I expected a more hearty and flavorful dish, especially for a beef and barley soup. I couldn’t help but compare it to Tim Hortons’ minestrone soup, which is not only much more flavorful but also more affordable.nnThat said, the rest of my family enjoyed their meals, and we always appreciate the pleasant atmosphere. I hope this feedback is helpful for future improvements.
