Tu Taco

Such a vibe!! I was here during on a Thursday where there was a live performance and had a wonderful time. They have deals depending on the day. The food is really good as well I also love the theme! Very cute little corner.

Fantastic authentic Mexican food at reasonable prices. With ample parking and being centrally located in Kensington, this quaint eatery is a breadth of fresh air. The ambiance transports you with soft colors on the walls and a tantalizing aroma of freshly made tortilla wraps. This is a family operated restaurant and so the staff are friendly and personable. A nice touch: A floor to ceiling banner of Coco with a fun little picture perfect alter! If you're ever in the neighborhood and have a hankering for authentic Mexican street food, do hit Tu Taco up!

It was an alright experience. The atmosphere is cool and feels like you are in Mexico. The food was just okay. Maybe this was a bit too authentic for me? I am unsure. I just thought the tacos with 2 wraps and just meat was not super tasty. I guess if you are used to those kind of tacos, it may be fine but it wasn't my cup of tea. I don't think I'll visit here again. The price is decent.

Great first experience! Just wish they had more hot sauces. Service was fantastic, super polite and helpful. Like an idiot I can in 10min before they closed, but was still allowed to eat-in. Thanks for the great time, food was great!

Nice little Mexican restaurant with nice decorations and friendly staff. The food is very good, although a couple of dishes could be a little better. The place is clean and presentable. There’s a few details that could be improved like straws being tall enough to reach out of the pop bottle. Overall, it’s a great place to stop for some tasty food.

This is an awesome place, vibs are awesome, Food quickly came, like in 4 minutes! Enjoy the photos They also have 2 gummy shooters, that to be served with tequila, and the shooter can be eaten! This is for 16 cad. I JUST, hate the fact that Mexican food is so exp here. This is so silly and sad!

I really loved the atmosphere, you really feel like you're in Mexico! Taco Tuesday deal was 3$ for street tacos and shredded beef was the best protein I tried! I wish they had fish and shrimp as well.Food: 5/5

Came to Tu Taco today for lunch. Excellent tacos. We tried the steak, shredded beef, pork and chicken tacos. My favourite were the shredded beef and steak. Quiet environment at lunch, we were the only people eating in, but the staff said they have been very busy. They have daily specials, and food was reasonably priced $13 for 4 tacos. We also had a side of chips and salsa for $3.99 with mild salsa. Chips and guacamole is $4.49 so very reasonably priced. Will definitely be back for more tacos and to try the burritos. Lovely staff, very friendly and sweet.

Ordered 3x Birria Beef Tacos, 1x Order of Flautas, and 2oz of Mangolada for $47 before tip. Service was great. Food came out fairly quick, hot and yummy. Havnt found a better Birria place yet

Great place to have a burrito, the meat is so authentic, it reminds me of home. The place and service are good, and the prices are ok. Really enjoyed the birria tacos as they came with the broth to dip them in. But really the steak burrito is simply delicious, my favorite burrito in all of Calgary.
