I have been practicing Bikram yoga at True Bikram in New Haven/Madison for over 5 years and continue to love every bit about it! The team working at both studios is fantastic--always friendly and supportive of my practice. Through this practice, I have honed my mind/body connection and have improved my performance in other activities (running, dancing, weight lifting). It is definitely a challenging workout (physically and mentally), but one that leaves me feeling more energized. I highly recommend True Bikram to anyone looking to improve his/her flexibility, strength, balance, and overall well-being.

This a top-notch studio. The teacher and other staff are really personable and know a lot about the yoga and its benefits. The class was rigorous but I felt like I was being taken care of, as the teacher gave me some specific pointers, even thought the class was quite large. The facilities are spacious and what a treat to have some fresh cold grapefruit slices right after class. I've been there several times and I always leave smiling! I look forward to my next trip to that area!

Real Quick: I've practiced many places, and this studio is hands down one of the best locations I have been to. They are interested in the struggle and discipline of Hatha Yoga practice, and not so much in the westernized perception of it. Friendly staff, excellent facilities; anyone who complained about the sweaty carpet would be happy to know that they just replaced it with brand new Rubber flooring. You get access to two facilities both with private showers, bathrooms, fresh juice bar, lounge area to stimulate comradery between frequenters. I'll admit that sometimes the teachers can seem a bit pushy, but that's the nature of a Bikram style practice, and they are always understanding of physical injury/ limitation.

Has saved my life. The most rewarding exercise I have ever found. As good for the body as it is for the mind and soul.
