I haven't been at Ronnin...but I know Sensei Danny(Luis)from Asian Arts club in Bridgeport. And he's one of the best coaches and competitors around

Best martial arts school you could ever be a part of. Ronin BJJ has a different environment compared to other training facilities; clean mats, friendly and fun atmosphere, respectful, no egos, and the instruction you get is the best you will find. It's rare to find instructors that will go out of their way to make you feel comfortable, make sure you understand the techniques, and who don't play favorites; our instructors genuinely care about every single one of us and our development. Their knowledge is beyond anything you will find in any school around; after every class, and every roll, you learn more than you though possible; and that's because Lu is always improving his own game and helping us improve ours. I have trained in different schools before, and none of them had instructors like Luis Figueroa and Andrew Spinnato. I guarantee there is no other school quite like Ronin BJJ. And that is my favorite thing about it.

Fantastic and patient instructors who are specialized in more than just jiu jitsu. Great family friendly academy that allows for safe and fun training.

Amazing coaches, Luis & Andrew are very dedicated to helping their students improve. If you are struggling with understanding a technique thry will help you, no questions asked. This school has gone above and beyond what my expectations were coming in. Amazing experience, amazing students, amazing teachers. I highly recommend Ronin Bjj to anybody interested in BJJ, Muay thai, boxing, or MMA.

Ronin BJJ is an ego free learning environment where students range from beginner to expert (white to blacks). The instruction is first class and you will find coaches Luis Figueroa and Andrew Spinnato and the mats every day training along side the students. The Ronin BJJ Academy is committed to every single student that come through the doors whether the goals are recreation or competition.
