Absolutely amazing experience! From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and full of great vibes. The staff were super friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home.The food was the real star—fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. Every bite was delicious, and you can tell a lot of care goes into both the ingredients and presentation. Portions were generous and totally worth it.A must-visit!

Chinese meal was part of our bus tour meal package—restaurant was empty except for us. Good variety, with some tasty dishes and others were just average. It was really disappointing that no one explained what was served. It felt disorganized and unwelcoming.

I don’t really like to leave negative reviews. I’m baffled how people eat here. I would keep at least 1,000 feet away from this place. The service was good though.

I recently visited Bamboo Panda, a Chinese restaurant, and had a mixed dining experience. The Cantonese chow mein and Combo #2 were generous in portion size, providing a substantial plate of food. However, the quality of the dishes was average, with the flavors and presentation being somewhat straightforward and lacking distinctiveness. The house fried chicken was also served in a satisfactory manner although it tasted refried. Unfortunately, our waitress seemed disengaged, which detracted from the overall experience. While the food was filling and decent, the lackluster service and unremarkable flavors left us with a mediocre impression. With some improvement in service and culinary creativity, Bamboo Panda could elevate its offerings to better satisfy its customers.

Passing through Merritt, I googled the reviews for a few Chinese food places, and this one had mostly good reviews...we should have gone with the lower reviewed ones. Once we were seated with menus, we had to wait a good 10-15 mins for a server to come back to take our order. Food came quicker, but had to ask for forks, and then napkins. Chow mein was good, but everything had a gingery flavour, too much for my liking. The chicken balls were gross, we packed our leftovers to go, but left almost the whole order of those on the table.
