R-U-N... Their service centre will rip you off. I live in a family of mechanics including one who works for Ford. I took my Ford to Trillium for a rear clunking noise. Which my Husband and Brother-in-Law both agreed was rear shocks. My BIL ran the VIN and confirmed the shocks would be covered under my warranty package. Trillium Ford ran a diagnostics on the car, confirmed what we knew, the rear shocks needed to be done and told me this WAS NOT a warranty job as it is normal wear and tear. They apparently ran my VIN and confirmed my warranty would not cover it. The cost would be over $800. I asked Trillium not to proceed as I was being told otherwise from my BIL. Trillium didn't want to release my keys to me b/c I was required to pay $150 for the diagnostic test where my car was simply hooked up to a machine for coding. I refused to pay this amount and asked to speak with the manager. I asked the manager to rerun my VIN which he wouldn't b/c they had already done so. I told him I had family who worked for Ford who was telling me it would be covered. His response was I had been misinformed and in his EXACT words, "everybody always wants something for free!" I'm not paying $150 for a diagnostics when you did me no service at all and I am now going to take it to another Ford who will want to rerun this same diagnostics and honour my warranty. I had to take a day off of work, drive 125km each direction to go out of my way back to where I purchased the car to have a Ford warranty honored that should have been honored from Point A, Trillium. Not to mention the amount of gas that cost to drive from Angus to Port Perry. Attached are the photos of my communication with Trillium Ford as well as the invoice from Port Perry Ford which you will see, the job was warranty covered. I only had to pay the deductible. Never Ever will I recommend this Ford Service Centre to ANYBODY. I would like to say this was just an isolated incident however it is not the first situation I have encountered with them. Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me. But to try and rip people off well over $800! Like the first word of my review says, R-U-N.
Took my Ford Escape 2014 for rear wheel bearings, transmission fluid and last but not least transmission bushing which was covered under factory recall. Their price is a bit higher but excellent service: 1. courteous shuttle to work upon acceptance of my vehicle, 2. courteous pick up after work with full service completed. and excellent workmanship. Thank you ladies and gentleman in the shop that I never got to meet.
I would highly recommend visiting Trillium Ford for your vehicle purchase needs. Nolan, Pete, Shannon were simply fantastic to deal with. Friendly, knowledgeable, and honest. New or used, do yourself the favour of checking out this dealership before buying anywhere else!
I went there once before, and I was very disappointed with the service. As I was approaching the service desk, Olivia the service advisor shouted at me "did you sign in" instead of "Welcome to Trillium Ford, may I get you to sign in". After I signed in, she ignored my presence and just talked on the phone for a while, without asking one of her co-workers to assist me. Once she assisted me, she was talking in a rude tone, and did not show one ounce of mannerism, making me feel like I owe her something. I reported to the manager, and he said he would make it up... he did not end up doing anything. I thought a customer service rep should know how to be good to customers, and how to talk to them with respect. No point of supporting them, if I have to teach them how to talk to customers. Lost my business.
I came to trillium ford to see if you were better than barrie ford. Used your service a couple of times. I Made an appointment for a tire change over and to get a recall fixed. One tires were done they put my keys in the keybox for me to get, didn't even want to interact with there customer to discuss the vehicle. I went inside to find out why the recall wasn't performed and was told that ford isn't doing the recall anymore. No other explanation given. I contacted ford, was told that they lied to me and the recall was never suspended. I won be going there for anything from now on, wanted to trade my escape there. Guess I'll go to Barrie ford.
So far so good on our new Maverick purchase. They seem to be good with making sure things are communicated and explained clearly.
Big Pete was awesome and knowledgeable. Made my car buying experience amazing. Definitely would recommend him as a car salesman that knows his stuff and makes sure your happy!
I just purchased a new vehicle here so this review is of the sales experience only. Was a great experience from start to finish. My salesman Mike was awesome to deal with. Nothing but positive things to say. He was fast to reply and found me exactly what I was looking for.
I would say one of the better ford place I have been too: all other garages in Allston were busy that day called ford and they said yeah come on by . Went there and they were nice and fast also the bonus was they had free ice cream coffee and candy highly recommended
