Tri-County Food Bank And Heating Assistance

I called in October and got an appointment right away. I brought in the paperwork they asked for and am now waiting to see if I will be able to get it. They were very kind and helpful. I was missing one paper and as I live close by, they let me run home to get it. Staff is very helpful and knowledgeable.

This place is in North Providence Rhode Island it's where you can apply for heating assistance and you can also apply for weatherization if your house is older or you need windows replaced or a new furnace if it's old enough they will actually do it and pay for it to Grants if you qualify you have to qualify for everything they used to also have food pantry with just a few candy Goods nothing big there and sometimes they would give out diapers or things like that only if they have them donated it's not a regular thing with those items but that is where to go to apply for heating assistance and weatherization and possibly other things as well you must provide documentation they have a good size parking lot and they do have a public bathroom inside and they also have a bookcase by the front door with free books you can donate and you can take as many as you want they have a seated waiting area the bathroom right there it's a really good place to go when you need that extra helping hand and they all have other resources and information to help you get whatever Services you need hope this review helps someone

They are always amazing and help however they can!!

They offered me a scarf while I was waiting and everyone was extremely friendly. I happened to need a scarf for the winter so this was especially nice. I was there with my father for heating assistance and although they were running a little behind the wait wasn't overly long and the person we had the appointment with was very competent and cordial.

They have gone out of there way to help me through the covid pandemic they also help with my heating needs I would like to thank them for there generousty

The food bank never treats you like you are a second class citizen. I'm so thankful for the kindness. It's humbling to be in the position of having to frequent food banks.

Friendly,helpful man name is Bob makes you comfortable when picking up food! Variety is small but thankful for their generousity!

I actually don't hate this place. Better then most around! Nice people. There's a wait but they're as helpful and friendly as possible.
