NAMI, Providence Rhode Island’s newest Japanese sushi and fine dinning restaurant, offers a contemporary twist on traditional Japanese cuisine set in the backsplash of historic Atwells Ave. NAMI’s menu includes the freshest carefully crafted sushi, and kitchen entrees matched with a wine and drink menu fit for New York City.
The interior is designed and accented by local artists to create an uncompromisingly trendy, upscale ambiance, and includes a selection of dining and lounge areas. Al fresco dining is available during the summer months as weather permits.

I had gone here for my birthday lunch with friends not because it was recommended or I heard of it, but because my first choice was closed for the afternoon. I AM SO GRATEFUL I DID GO HERE INSTEAD!! I was blown away by their food and so impressed by their service that this has become my new number one spot to eat. Nicole was my waitress and she was so attentive and pleasant. I would recommend this spot to EVERBODY!

Do yourself a favor and order the sashimi here, it was phenomenal and a truly memorable meal. Staff was knowledgeable and attentive. The atmosphere was great too, no views but a comfortable clean and odourless setting fit for the impeccable dishes served up. I cannot stress enough how delicious everything was.

We came after our regular spot, Tokyo, closed. It was better than expected. Prices were not considering it is on the Hill. The sushi was actually pretty good and the waiter was pleasant too.

Love the atmosphere and food. It's delicious. Their salmon sashimi and salmon belly is the best we've ever had.

I went to Nami with my friend for my birthday, I loved the food and my waiter “Louie” i think that was his name he was very polite and patient... I ordered an alcoholic beverage that had way too much ice and it tasted like watermelon water... My friend that i was with said something to the waiter mr.louie and he was going to take care of it...then 5 seconds later i get this random woman at my table telling me the drink is supposed to taste like watered watermelon😂😂😂 also was talking over me telling me that i was wrong and the drink is right 😫😫... and so she basically forced me into not reordering the drink and the waiter suggested another drink “a martini” but it tasted like it was just vodka in a glass... again the waiter was great, the food was amazing but she just made me never want to come back again
