Transcend Coffee

If you take coffee seriously then this is your place. They have exceptional espresso-based drinks as well as a variety of properly prepared filter coffees. If you are pressed for time they have coffee ready that is better than most coffee at other establishments. There are delicious muffins and pastries for a quick bite but Transcend is about the coffee.

Can't rave about our monthly Transcend coffee subscription enough. Not only are the coffee beans uh-mazing, fresh, and tasty, the delivery straight to our door each month is convenient and adds excitement to our coffee experience. Transcend's coffee beans are so lovely, that often times we've gone through all of our coffee weeks before the arrival of our next order. Most importantly though, this subscription has saved us loads of money. 1 bag brews a ton of coffee and I rarely buy a coffee on my way to work now. :) Also the Spinach and Feta pastry is to die for!

Love the vibe here. The staff are always friendly and the coffee is great. Public washrooms are kept neat as well. Parking is at the rear and is limited. There is street parking if you are lucky. Sometimes it is nice to walk around Garneau as it is a beautiful neighborhood.

Absolutely most perfectly brewed Earl Grey. Now that I tasted perfection I will always come back here for more. They brew the perfect amount of tea in a perfect amount of water at the perfect temperature for a perfect amount of time. This is how tea should be always served everywhere. Perfection mastered.

Like at their other location, the coffee here is great. The drip coffee uses a lighter roast which gives it full flavour, just the way I like it. The espresso based drinks are also delicious. While my Kiwi friend said their flat white wasn't on par with her expectations (being from New Zealand where these originated), I found it to be as good as any of their coffee drinks.
