It's easy to find, parking is difficult need to pay.nPlace is not clean properly, between the chairs there were crumbs. Place is dusty need more caring. Chairs are out dated.nDrinks were good. Food were basic indian food, no wow factor.nPlace was mostly filled with university students.nOverall I would give it a 4.7/10
We were visiting from Winnipeg and our friend brought us to Remedy Cafe to try the chai. We ordered the Iced Kashmiri Chai and the Iced Vanilla Rooibos Chai paired with samosas. Both drinks have very interesting flavours that we weren’t used to but both very delicious! The samosas were hot and tasty. There were so many items on the menu from snacks to meals and a huge variety of drinks. The cafe has a bright and cheery atmosphere. Music wasn’t too loud. Love that it has so many seats so our friends and I could hang out and chat. Overall, this is a cafe that I would love to visit every time we come to Edmonton. I wish we could have this in Winnipeg too!
A lovely cafe! Bright and colorful, with good music playing but not too loudly that you can't hear the people you're with. There is a single level area where the counter is that has seating, as well as an area with more seating that is a step up. Lots of big windows for nice lighting, and a variety of seating options.nnWe're visiting the city, so didn't get to try as much on the menu as we wish we could've nnLots of delicious options with high quality ingredients. My friend and I both got breakfast bagels with swiss cheese, ham, & egg, and they were lovely. I had the kashmiri chai, and it was fantastic! Not a flavour wheel I'm used to, but I would definitely have it again. My friend had the hot chocolate and said it was delicious as well.nIf we have time we'll come back for a shake or lassi.
Photosensitive friends: there's a section of the cafe with color changing lights, which you do have to walk past to access the washroom but are pretty mild and easy enough for me to get past!nnIt's remedy, it's great! I think the washrooms here are more queer friendly than the 109 location, as their all just individual washrooms. 109 is still queer friendly but stallsnnThe cinnamon tea latte is my new favourite drink, cozy flavours but not too sweet, and the new vegan carrot cake is great! Not super traditional but lighter and maybe better?
Didn't realize Remedy had moved to this new location now much to my suprise. Still has the same vibe as the original location, but with more varied seating, as well more window areas. The Chai teas still do not disappoint, and the food is just perfect as well! Don't forget the cakes! :D
