Imagine for a moment you lived in a lovely small town, amazing atmosphere and neighbours, everything is amazing, until you wake to find a $105 dollar parking ticket on your vehicle which is parked in your driveway. The citation stating that your vehicle is obscuring the sidewalk... however your driveway is only long enough to fit the vehicle, there is absolutely no way around this. We are fortunate enough to own a garage which also holds two vehicles, however being a three adult household, there is no choice but to use the driveway for parking. You call to inquire, why in the three years living at the residence it's never been an issue, and your met with a firm regiment of "Did you check to see if you could park in your driveway upon purchasing your house?" because that's a logical question, last I checked it's not abnormal to park in ones driveway. Instead I was informed I could park my car in one of the parking lots located in the center of town. I don't know about anyone else, but as a home owner, I should be entitled to keep my property... on my property and not risk being vandalized, broken into, or stolen. Lindsay at the Norwich city hall was extremely rude and unhelpful and unwilling to even empathize with my situation. It is truly a crime that my tax dollars, and the tax dollars of everyone living in Norwich support this atmosphere. If zero stars were an option, this would be a zero star review. I feel victimized and taken advantage of. It's sad when we live in a time our public servants do nothing to help us and see us only as a source of income.

Was good have to wear masks & sign in and out so they know who's there been there
