My family and I had lunch 2 young children and we all loved it! The haddock, chips and crispy fish burger were delicious and the clam chowder was very good! Wasn't greasy and wasn't overly battered- A LOT of fish and large portions for a very affordable price. The dining room amd bathrooms were very clean. Highly recommend!
Wonderful food, clean and for the price a LOT of food!. Me dad and stepmom 3 haddock and chips, 2 onions rings, one cola 66 bucks tax included. Great fish, thin crispy batter, big portions, and no nasty aftertaste like some places batter gives you. Gladly go again! Parking: A little crowded when its busy with the other places in the strip mall. Wheelchair accessibility: Normal door but wide open dining area and wait area, easy to ask for a chair moved at one of the tables for wheelchair and the staff are happy!.
Me and the family have been coming here since the early 2000s, but I'd be hard pressed to not mention the slight and steady decline in the quality over the years. Prices were good and portion sizes were better. Now, you get less fish that costs more. The atmosphere has taken a toll too. The once charming albeit cheesey interior nautical design has been replaced with this ultra-modern "black and white" look, with only one piece of wall art remaining from the original design. The place looks more like a wine & dine joint than a fish & chip restaurant in my opinion. With all that said, the food is still great, and the staff is really friendly and personable. It gets a solid 3/5. It's a good choice for Fish & Chips. For reference, had I written this in 2006-2011, it'd be a full 5/5.
First time here for me. We both got fish & chips only I subbed for a salad. It was a work of art & delicious! Very friendly owners.
Fish and chips were delicious. Could do with a bit of ambiance and definitely an upgrade or better upkeep. Service was also very good. We stopped on the take out side and ordered before we realized there was a dining room and you had to come Eder separately from the takeout.
The new owners have updated their restaurant, and it's a really amazing choice. They change everything! Nice dining, new menu, kind employees. Not grease batter, fresh chips, and the salad looks good Better than previous owners.
Lovely staff, clean and great comfort food. The milkshakes hit the spot and the sauces with the food are yummy.
I came here a week ago, but I still can't forget this restaurant! The fish was cooked very well and tasted awesome. The service was great too. Even if it takes a long time to come here, I would visit again.
We got the seafood platter with halibut and milkshakes, it was all fantastic! Batter was light and crispy, seafood was tender and juicy - it hit all the right spots. Too stuffed to try their homemade pies but will have to on our next visit !!
Wow! Excellent quality! The halibut was fresh and crispy and the fries were hand cut and wonderful. I would definitely be back here and recommend this place to anyone that hasn’t had decent fish and chips in a long time.Recommended dishesHalibut and Chips
