If you look at the yelp reviews vs the google reviews- there's a massive discrepancy. 0.5 stars vs 3.6 stars?? I decided to stick to the google reviews and was extremely disappointed and disgusted. I found three pieces of Steel wools in my food.I decided to ignore it and went in for another bite, only to find another steel wool. I've never been so disgusted. What a waste of $30 dollars.
I have been coming to this place for 2 years now. Owner is a nice guy, hard worker, with a family. I have never been disappointed here yet. Always friendly service, good food, etc. This is the type of place that even if they mess up on your food, if you talk to them like a human being they will correct the problem and make sure you are satisfied. I am not sure why there are so many negative reviews, but take it from a food expert, this place is good.
This was our first time and we wouldn't return, I'm afraid. The woman who took our order made us feel like an inconvenience, and the meat was really dry compared to the many other shawarma places we've eaten at. I asked for medium and the hot sauce completely masked any flavour. The bathrooms were dirty and in one there was no door knob to exit if you'd closed the door.
Best food i have ever eaten! The service is so friendly and going in there makes you feel like your in a whole different place that just has an amazing atmosphere. The food there is always good i have been there many times now haha and whatever you get i think you will enjoy it.
Food gets maybe a 2 possibly a 3 star..lady working the front is terrible. I’m assuming she’s probably the owner. She doesn’t smile is rude and definitely has ZERO customer service skills. She makes you feel like you are an inconvenience. I highly recommended going somewhere else. And lady, if you’re reading this. Maybe stay at home and hire someone who is better at their job because you are terrible. I love Mediterranean food, and maybe if the food here was phenomenal I could return. But it’s not even that great. So save your money and go somewhere else :
I have been eating at this location of Osmow’s since it opened years ago and it has never been a disappointment. My go to dish is chicken shawarma on fries and rice 1/2 and 1/2 and it is always amazing. The owners and staff are so welcoming and accommodating and the service is always very personal. They are very accommodating. I highly recommend this location for anyone who wants to eat great food in Orangeville. I had Osmow’s this evening and can wait until my next visit. Keep up the fantastic work.
Absolutely incredible shawarma! I don't know what is better --- the food or the people that run the place. I eat here at minimum twice a week, and have only had great experiences. Top quality juicy chicken, fresh ingredients and friendly staff make this my go to spot in Orangeville. Highly recommend. 5/5 every time.
Worst experience. I’ve ate chicken on the rocks a million times and last 3 were disgusting. Got all three from this orangeville store. Chicken was dry and the sauces they use were like thin as water. 0 taste! Paid for extra garlic sauce and the lady was not happy to give me what I paid for. Disgusting taste and waste of 16.50$
I really like the food, but ordering is difficult, there's so much background noise the two involved in the order can't hear each other well. The spice level varies a lot and what use to be medium, we always ordered is now so spicey its painful to eat. And they shrunk the order size significantly but not the price. The salad use to be in a separate box, now it's in the same box, therefore the meal is now half the size. But it's still good, just not what it use to be
First, if I could give them a 0 star that would be the right rating. We waited and gave them multiple chances before writing this review. We've been eating at Osmow's around the GTA for decades and have eaten multiple times at the Orangeville location. The lady at the cashier is extremely rude and acts like everyone is bothering her. We ordered two shawarmas tonight and asked for it to be mild. Both of us eat like spicy food but we like our shawarma mild. Today, our shawarma was unedible as it was extremely spicy. I took two bites and my tongue was burnt. I called the restaurant and the manager/owner answered the man there everyday, I can even recognize his voice. After explaining that we eat spicy and have eaten shawama's for years, he stated «Our homemade sauce is very spicy, I hope you know that». If i've said that i've eaten there multiple times a year over the past decades, I think I know it's spicy, hence why I order mild with hot peppers. I repeated myself saying I just wanted to inform them that we couldn't eat just in case they had something to adjust; with a rude attitude he said Ok. Horrible customer service on top of a horrible osmow's shawarma recipe. Won't be going again.
