The clock tower sits at the far north end of the old port. I fully enjoyed the strolling through the entire Montreal old port,. The view on one side is the river and other is the old town of the city. Great city walk of a couple of hours if you have while in town.
Both a striking landmark in Montreal's Old Port and, if you stroll on over to the backside of the tower, a tribute to Canadian sailors involved in the World Wars. Accessible from the paths winding their way along the waterfront, the clock tower is a worthwhile visit for anyone exploring the Old Port on foot and offers fantastic views of the city and the Saint-Lawrence in all seasons. The area is also a runner's paradise, with the tower serving as a great halfway marker.
Payed a small fee to watch the fireworks on the beach. They need to add more seating for these events. It was the first time I had visited that beach, it is well kept with public washroom available. The view is beautiful.
Always like that place. During the summer it’s more and more beautiful. The weather the river creates a beautiful environment. It opens a beach and perfect for those who wants to take sun bath.Visited onWeekdayWait time10–30 minReservation recommendedNo
Beautiful views of the city and surrounding area. It was a wonderful walk to get to the clock tower. I visited in early May so it wasn't crowded at all which was very enjoyable. I can tell that this is the place to be in the summer as there are lots of places to check out.
Great for a morning run, especially on a day like this. No wind, blue skies and amazing view of the Jacques Cartier bridge. Cyclists are very respectful, and there is a good understanding of joggers, people going for a walk or cyclist. Enjoyable for all of the above mentioned
This is a replica of the Big Ben in London and was built between 1919-1922 to memorialize sailors lost at sea. I would’ve loved to go up the 192 steps for the view but it was closed, no info anywhere about it. It’s a great spot on a sunny day!Visited onWeekendWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNo
Great place to stop by for a picture, has nice views of the water and there's a little beach right beside it to relax for a while
the area provides a nice view of the Jacques-Cartier bridge. The clock tower has fond historic meaning to it. I suggest checking it out if you have time to kill and want relaxation
