The paifang on Saint Laurent Boulevard is located in the area of De la Gauchetière Street in Montreal. The neighbourhood contains many Asian restaurants, food markets, and convenience stores as well being home to many of Montreal's East Asian community centres, such as the Montreal Chinese Hospital and the Montreal Chinese Community and Cultural Center. I'm so happy to walk through the gate of China town. After the gate, building has lot of Chinese roof and style.
Be aware of some crazy old Asian ladies at the intersection waiting behind you for the traffic light. They will push you back and yell at you to move fast, as they say that they are slow with walking stick. If you move slow in front of them, they will be stuck in the middle of the intersection as they are moving slowly. Understood the older you become, the slower you move. But don’t take it for granted that the whole world owes you only because you are walking with stick. The lady behind me today pushed hard on my back suddenly and yelled at me for at least 20 second even I walked away. We show respect to elderly people in general, but don’t take it for granted

Hadn't visited Chinatown for decades. Walking the streets was great. Seeing all the store front and all it has to offer. I loved the original products they had. No regrets.Visited onWeekendWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNot sure
