I came to this library with my mom group. I always love exploring new libraries and I’d say this was a gem!nnThey have a sensory room that you have to book in advance so I didn’t get to try it.nnBut the space itself is big. They have stroller access, parking, elevators and snack/vending machines. My son had a great time running around and playing with the busy boards.nnA plus, they have free female products in the bathroom!
It has a great catalogue of books, plenty of seating and really nice interior. The kids section is very nicely decorated and is also completely separated which is even better! one thing I would complain about is that the chairs are a little slippery but overall, its great.
Amazing children's area in this library, lots of interesting wooden fixtures to explore, area for louder younger kids and their caregivers, a giant toy rocket to play in. A colouring area. Great books, obviously. A great place to inspire a love for reading very young.
I didn't know you could review libraries! We love S.W.S. It was great when the kids were little and continues to be a haven for young people. While groups of middle schoolers and dozing adults may annoy other patrons, consider that they are in a safe, wholesome, community space.
What can I say. A gem in the community. Wonderful librarians offering great support and service. This location offers child, youth and adult programming. Currently highlighting Asian Heritage Month in their programming. Limited but ample parking with one accessible parking spot. Entrance is accessible and the elevator is reliable.
