It is well maintained and neatly organized. The librarian was very patient and made sure every concern was resolved, very polite and good.nA very good atmosphere to have a calm mind and relax.
I look online and it said it had a children’s area section was available. Although when I arrived I was to by security that it was closed. I waited for a library worker for 10 mins, but no one came. Another woman and her child were reading. She said for nearly 20 minutes and there was a worker that was trying not to make eye contact on the floor. It was my first and last time at this branch information and have someone.
Our use of the library is mainly for our kids, and the Fairview location is great for that. It has a KidsStop early literacy space on the 2nd floor, which is designed specifically for kids to play and read books. Our young children loved it! The Youth Hub also offers free programs like gaming and arts + crafts, as well as technology that can be borrowed. They also show kids' movies in the attached theatre on certain days. Passes to some of the city's popular museums are also available free of charge on a first-come, first-serve basis. The library location is also ideal, right by Fairview Mall and accessible by car or public transit bus + subway.
Very good library in a very convenient place. It is close to subway, Fairview mall and many stores. It has 10 study rooms on the third floor and teen and kids space located on second floor. Lots of computers, meeting rooms and study area. You can get free tickets for ROM, agha khan museum and some more locations on Saturdays. There is a line up though.nI gave 4 stars because there are not enough plugs near the study tables and many of them do not have plugs around.
