Toronto Public Library - Maria A. Shchuka Library

First time at the Maria Shchuka Library. The staff was very welcoming and patient. In particular, Taylor, Allan and Sid went above and beyond in their service, providing information and technical assistance. Great atmosphere.

I come here almost every day. A nice quiet place to read, study and write. Although the kid's area is a bit noisy, the upstairs is kind of nice. Maybe not perfect, as there does tend to be quite a few homeless people, but overall a very nice place. I find it generally clean even the bathroom and the staff are super friendly. I actually did make an artwork that was hung up on the wall at this library, but it was stolen. For anyone who decides to contribute art, beware the low security. For things other than books, like my art.nnOverall a very nice place though.

This library is great. The staff is always ready to help you. Everytime I go, they make me feel so comfortable and let me know that If I have any questions or if I need help with anything, they are there for me. The place is always clean and organized. The atmosphere is great. The kid's area is in the first level separated from the adults that is on the 2nd floor. Normally, it's not that busy, and when it is, the users, are pretty understanding, and conscious, so they use the computers wisely. The printers work fine and you can also send your files to be print through the library website, using your library card prior from home, and go straight to the library, to pick them up. This is my favorite place, and it's very close to my home. Thank you so much, for your service !!!!

I usually just pick up my holds, and I'm out of there.nWhen I do stay, I avoid the first floor as the homeless use the bathrooms there.
