Toronto Muslim Cemetery Corporation

They are very disrespectful to the deceased. My mother passed away couple of months ago and i go there every Friday, most of the graves have stones and flowers on the grave, i put the garden stones around my moms grave as well. Today i went there to water the flowers and i see they have removed the stones and the flowers. I called them they said stones are not allowed because they cant go through the grave to mow the lawn. I understand if stones are prohibited but why would they remove the flowers. They dont allow vertical head stone, only horizontal is allowed, dont they realize that if head stone is horizontal with the name of Allah its a sin to walk on it. To be honest who mowers the lawn on they grave, isn’t it prohibited to walk on the grave? They are so cheap that they dont have a walk way or the needed area to move the excavator around to dig the grave or burry someone. Comparing to christian cemetery the muslim cemetery does not pay respect to the deceased, at least the christian cemetery is well organized and they have proper ways to take care of everything. Rules made by cemetery is mandatory but rules made by Allah is not?

Assalamoalaikum My daughter is sleeping there I often visit her but in winter I couldn’t find her please help me what I can do to see her in winter.

Alhumdulillah for this cemetery. My grandfather is buried here. From the time we bought the graves until his burial, TMCC management were extremely helpful and considerate. They are very polite and will answer all your inquiries and questions. Promt email replies, friendly customer service and most importantly they are very patient and humble Masha’Allah. Not a complain but a slight concern I have is that we are not allowed to make a border around the grave to prevent people from accidentally stepping on the graves. But they explained it’s due to maintenance team not being able to cut the grasses and stuff. Totally understandably, hopefully in the future insha’allah maybe we are allowed to make borders or the management themselves can create a solution to this issue. But overall this cemetery is a true blessing from Allahswt. May Allah accept the management’s effort for serving the community. May Allah forgive and grant highest rank in Jannatul Firdous to all the deceased buried here and around the world. Ameen!

The Director is disrespectful to Muslim Grieving Parents, he soled our promised lot beside our Deceased son two times and Cursed us at his Home/Cemetery Office when we complained for not getting any notice "And never think that Allah is unaware of what the Oppressors do. he only delay them for a Day when eyes will stare in horror " Surah Ibrahim Ayat 42

Today I visited the cemetery, I am appalled at the way you keep your grounds, after visiting my family member I decided I will not be buried in this cemetery, therefore I chose another. This is very sad and like your other reviews I feel the pain.

My mom is slipping there in peace with the grace of Allah. she passed away in the year 2016. that time the grave was identified by passtic covered paper with all informations. section -G, plot - 726 now days- nothing and hard to find my mom's grave. Last month- we saw some of the grave, they have name plate on it. Can we use name plate for our mom,s grave  with the help of you to identify the plot.

My sister rests here. I miss her everyday and every Friday we come visit her.

My son Raiyan Hossain is there about 6 months Due to COVID-19 we cant visit there

It is common and natural phenomenon that we get distress by loosing any of our loved one, during that moment, acute greif occurs in the early period after a loss.But we all know very wellإِنَّا لِلّهِ وَإِنَّـا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعونَ‎ our final destination. In my personal opinion we have to look the brighter side of the services providing by Tmc. so I would like to thank Br.syed sabi ahsan and his team and the Imam Sahibans for doing wonderful job for community and I hope they would improve in coming days beyond the expectations of community and they would address the issues facing by our community members before and after burial of their loved ones.
