My dear kitty passed away suddenly and unexpected. I was distraught and in shock. I wanted cremation but I didn't want him sent away to an unknown location, a friend recommended I call Thistledown, surprisingly Colin answered the phone at 9pm and was very supportive and caring. Even gave me some kind words of encouragement that I really needed at that time. I met him and Nancy in the morning and they were so welcoming and supportive. The next day was a real funeral. Being hands-on in the process really helped me cope and have a better understanding of life and death. I can't imagine going any other route, the home, the grounds is all beautiful. A really peaceful place. I cannot recommend their services enough, they even gave us trinkets+keep sakes, thank you cards, good luck charms. Price for everything was more than fair. I only wish there were more people like Colin and Nancy in the world. Thank You Thistledown.

On Thursday, March 1, 2018, my beloved dog, Rosie, a rescued walkerhound passed away just shy of 17 years old. I adopted Rosie when she was 8 months old. I love Rosie very much and she was a very special dog. I am grateful and I was blessed to have Rosie in my life all those years even though now I miss her very much. I took Rosie to Thistledown on March 1st to have Rosie euthanized by a vet. There I meant two of the kindest people that I have ever meant in my life, Nancy and Colin. They are so loving, kind, caring, helpful and patient; they could not do enough for Rosie and I. Nancy and Colin are also meticulous and perfectionists in their work. I felt so much love from them at such a sad and difficult time. Rosie and I could not have been in better hands; Nancy and Colin are filled with endless love for people and animals. I have had pets who have passed away due to old age in the past at a vet's office as I did not know about Thistledown, and comparing the two experiences is similar to comparing night and day. It was my honor to meet Nancy and Colin and I will never forget them; I feel God gave us these earthly angels to help people and our beloved pets. Nancy and Colin always say they meet the nicest people but this is because Nancy and Colin's love rubs off on all of us and makes us nicer people from having met them. I wanted to share my thoughts about Thistledown and Nancy and Colin so other people and their pets can experience the same love, kindness, and care that Rosie and I experienced. Nancy and Colin treated me like a family member and I know they treat everyone the same way. The testimonials on their website are filled with love and gratitude from people who also had the opportunity to spend time with Nancy and Colin. I am so glad I took Rosie here to be euthanized and for her cremation. It is the most loving way to say goodbye to our beloved pets. All the best to everyone, Love Nancy and Rosie

I have taken all my pets here. The most wonderful and respectful people. They make this hard time so much easier and I feel better knowing my furry loved ones are in good hands. I recommend them to anyone to take care of your animals when they pass.
