My dear daughter passed away I don't think anyone is prepared for laying a loved one to rest in peace. This took me for a whirlwind of complete and utter confusion. But Thornton Cemery, Cremation and Funeral Services the staff was outstanding and kind everything you need is there you do not need to go anywhere else. I recommend 100%

Stephanie Lobel is the kindest person I dealt with at the funeral home throughout the process. I appreciated being met with compassion, kindness and a genuine empathy. It was nice for a few moments while there to be reminded taking a breath for myself is just as important. I felt respected by her, she explained everything she could and if she didn't know she immediately sought answers to help me. I recommend working with her in anyway you can, as I found the rest of the staff a bit cold and more focused on payment then displaying compassion for the loss of my mother.

My mother passed Jan 28 and Thornton Cemetary has been nothing but exemplary in their care and attention to every detail. With the current restrictions, Thornton and their staff provided excellent options to allow every mourner an opportunity to access the service via streaming. They were very professional in every aspect and made this experience as comfortable as it possibly could be. On behalf of my family, we wish thank you for helping us through a very challenging time.

Attended a funeral not too long ago and they are not nice, poorly ran, use zero logic when it comes to navigating the government mandates. We understand the bereavement act but this funeral home doesn’t accommodate even with things that do not go against the act! They are rude! Frankly I also believe they do not appreciate people of color. Take your loved one elsewhere, there are plenty of compassionate, family owned funeral homes. Don’t bother with a corporate company who runs like a fast food company instead of a funeral. I wonder if they even apologized and issued any sort of relief to hosting a terrible funeral for such tragic circumstances. Highly doubt it… And forget about calling, when I called Steven his response was: “im sorry you feel that way” no accountability! Put your family to rest elsewhere please!

If I could give -100000 stars I would ! This place needs to be shut down immediately ! Who ever runs this place should be ashamed of their self/selves. You call this a funeral home ? Very Embarrassing to say the least. I would not recommend anyone having a service here for their loved ones, the director had NO COMPASSION or respect for the guests , friends and family of our loved one who passed away so tragically. It was soooo hard to watch the director and funeral home treat the guests the way they did…. So heart breaking !! So sadden by this. Our loved one deserved a BETTER funeral than this I’m sorry ! They need to be FIREDDD !!

Many thanks to the staff for their care, compassion and graciousness to our family. The service for our family member was handled perfectly from beginning to end. We are pleased to have been able to hold our final gathering for our loved one at Thornton.

0 Stars Had the worst experience attending a funeral there today. Rudest funeral staff I’ve ever seen in my life. They thought it was a good idea to open my friends casket at the grave site in - double degree whether instead of having people book visitation or rotate who could view him inside. No logic at all. These people only care about money.

My dad recently passed away and I have been making his burial arrangements with my mom. We met with Stephanie to chose a burial spot and make arrangements. I have to say that she was exceptionally kind and caring. She was very compassionate and handled our situation so perfectly. She was very knowledgeable and if she wasn't sure about something, she got an answer right away. She made us feel comfortable and helped us through a very difficult situation with ease. My mother-in-law is also buried at this cemetery. It is beautiful and well managed. I have read a lot of reviews about the goose poop. So what!! It doesn't stink and it's there because the geese are attracted to the beautiful pond. I respect the cemetery for allowing the geese to be there, they are beautiful to watch.

Attended my friend Franklin’s funeral and everything from the staff to the way they handled grieving family was bad. I couldn’t beleive there was an open casket outside by the grave site for viewing in the winter instead of letting visitors visit inside. Do better.

0000000 STARS !! DO NOT BURY YOUR LOVED ONES HERE ! The funeral director here attitude was absolutely disgusting and shocking ! No compassion no respect or regards for mourning family and friends of the deceased ! He treated the guest like dogs and talked horribly to the attendee’s ! Slamming the doors in guests faces and the hostile communication was SO overwhelming considering the nature of the unfortunate event ! I would NEVER RECOMMEND this place to anyone !!!!!!!! Unless you wanna be treated and talked to like animals do not come here !
