This hospital facilitates miracles in people’s life that have been suffering.nIt is quiet before 8am and after 6pm. Has many food and coffee choices
The Vascular Surgery Department at Toronto General Hospital was outstanding. My mother had surgery this past week. The care offered by each and every nurse in the ICU was remarkable. The nurses were meticulous, empathetic, so kind, and went above and beyond! A HUGE THANK YOU to Dr. Crawford and his medical team for your commitment and dedication to patients. Staff of the Vascular ICU department-nurses, doctors, residents - your work is valued and appreciated! Thank you for the exceptional care that you offered during our stay at Toronto General.
I just want to give a huge thank you to the staff at Toronto General Hospital. Everyone — doctors, nurses, and other staff — was incredibly kind, caring, and compassionate. Even though the wait time was long, I was monitored the whole time and made to feel comfortable and safe. The amount of empathy and professionalism really stood out. Thank you for taking such good care of me and for being so genuinely human.
I spent 11 days and want to thank all staff at this hospital for their professional and kind care. I have encountered American ‘healthcare’ and I hope Canadians realize how fortunate we are even if we sometimes have to wait in a hall. A 12,000USD MRI can make one very grateful.
A number of years ago I went to Toronto General Hospital emergency with moderate pain and a young so called doctor gave me two pain killers that paralyzed my nervous system, couldn’t urinate and created tremendous problems for my prostate. I never learned whether that “doctor” was penalized. I stayed in hospital for 10 days and the only test they did was blood analysis. On Saturday night I almost died because I received an injection and a few hours later I began to shake and unable to stop it. I called a nurse who was unable to insert an IV in my arm she told me she was from Africa and was sent by some agency covering the night shift for the weekends. She called a doctor who was a doctor in residency and he had no idea what to do. Fortunately the shaking was stopped and It was a miracle that I survived that night. That clearly shows don’t get seriously ill on the weekend. The food they gave me was sugary and very acidic and gave me pain in my stomach, I asked them to change it and was told that’s all they give to everybody. I stopped eating for two days.nLuckily after 10 days they gave me an antibiotic and sent me home and my pain went away.
