I enjoyed my lunch here this past weekend. We both ordered a panini and it was delicious. Very flavourful. I will definitely be back to try other items on the menu.
German apple cake had some mold growing on it. I called to let them know and was assured that it was fresh baked every day. I was also offered a fresh slice the next time I was in Sidney, but I don’t think I’ll be returning.
I was excited to see Tonollis opening in Sidney! It’s a popular spot for friends to meet. Love the comfy seating areas inside and tables on the grass outside. This place has become our go to spot for coffee and scones on our way to and from the ferries. Try the Vienna sandwich! Bonus points for clean bathrooms.
Great Mocha cafe my weekly guilty pleasure. Whipped cream was thick & covered with a generous portion of shaved chocolate. Best I've had on Vancouver Island, & cheaper than other places. Service was great. Large clean bathroom too. Perfect stop after a long bike ride from Brentwood Bay ferry.
Lovely spot for coffee, lunch or breakfast. The Pesto Eggs Benny is scrumptious!

Was in the area and accidentally parked across the st from this place. Best accidental cafe visit ever. Their baked strudel was AMAZING. Their macchiato is a REAL macchiato not Starbucks made up version. Staff was great. All the baked goods looked wonderful. Really fair price too.
Ordered and paid for a 16 oz coffee to go and received a 12 oz. Also ordered a piece of apple cake to go as well and even though it was still almost untouched, they thought it would be a good opportunity to rid themselves of one of the corner pieces. Fortunately there are alternatives for the next time.
