Tokyo In April

Everything I've ordered here has been so delicious and fresh and presented so beautifully! The servers are so kind and welcoming and the chef's are amazing at what they do! : I couldn't recommend this place more, you won't regret it.

We came for dinner before movie. Great ambience for dine in and delicious food. The tables are nicely spaced out too. It would be nicer if they have a photo menu though. Will come back next time if we're in the area for movie

A friend told me to visit T.A. and it did not disappoint! Incredible food, and some very beautiful twists on every roll/sushi. Definitely upscale sushi at a reasonable price. Our server was very kind as well. Definitely coming back for more!

Affordable and delicious! We had the omu rice and Tokyo roll and the flavours were amazing. We were curious about the Tokyo roll not having rice but it has surpassed our expectations in how fresh and delicious it was. The staff is friendly and it's a comfortable chill atmosphere. Will be coming back for sure!

Made a special trip to try this place for the Omurice- it did not disappoint! It was well seasoned and fresh. We tried the salmon oishi sushi as well, which was tasty. The matcha sesame ice cream was refreshing, and the crispy pieces and candied walnut added a crunchy texture to the dessert. Ambience is clean and the place is spacious. Will be back to try their sake and more.

Came here on a Wednesday night for dinner. It wasn’t busy when we got there but picked up before we left. The place is clean and the waitress was really friendly and welcoming. We ordered the cheese katsu, omurice with beef, spicy salmon salad, corn fritters and crispy rice oshi. All the food came out at a good pace and we the food tasted great. The spicy salmon salad was really flavorful. The omurice was nice and rich, full of flavor. After eating everything we ordered a few more pieces of sushi. We had the negi hamachi roll and some others with uni by the suggestion of our waitress. I’ve had uni quite a few times and didn’t like it— but this time it was really great! There’s so much more food on the menu I want to try. I will definitely come back for more.

All the food that we ordered were amazing!!Literally the BEST omurice in downtown Vancouver !!!! The egg is soft, with the sauce is so yummy ,also the size is just about right ! Must try the Tokyo wing with chili sauce ! The sauce is on the side which is good,so could taste the original and spicy flavor Negi toro oshi is my favorite oshi,I’m so glad I ordered this oshi it tastes great! The fish and sushi were yum and fresh. Good quality and reasonable prices, definitely recommend to everyone in the area !

Wow! Came in for a late lunch based on prior reviews. We ordered our own dishes and we decided to try the omu-rice dish based on all the raving reviews. The omu-rice was delicious! The egg was perfect, the sauce was flavorful, and the rice was divine. I had the spicy sashimi don. Again, the flavors were extraordinary. It wasn't extremely spicy, but a good kick. The other dishes on the table was the unagi some bowl, salmon don, and yaki beef Udon. Everyone loved the food and I can easily recommend this place. Parking: Tokyo in April provides 2 hours of parking in the indoor garage

I would rate my experience 3.5 stars. The food was mostly good and at reasonable prices, I liked the ambiance and location, and the menu is pretty terrific. But for this specific time it took almost an hour for our food to come out even our appetizer, and the waitress did apologize and explain there was an issue in the kitchen. The food itself came out kind of cool, like it needed to still be heated up or had been sitting around..

One of the best Japanese cuisine in DT! My favourite menu was the “Tokyo Story Roll” which had varieties of sashimi wrapped in seaweed. Overall, the price, service, and the quality of the food was definitely worth it.
