Great vibes and pretty chill place to hang! Guu Oromomae on Water Street is very progressive and served some rather experimental dishes. Staff are friendly and attentive. Recommended.
Great drinks and service but would really benefit from having a few more vegetarian and vegan options. A plate of vegetables just doesn't cut it anymore! The agedashi tofu is delicious, but if they want keep up with the shifting direction of the service industry in Vancouver, they'll need more veg items on the menu soon.
My fav Japanese restaurant in Gastown. I am always super happy with the Japanese food and the service here. Great ambience too. Highly recommended.
Good izakaya with lots of choice of sake cocktails , beers and spirits. Foods are also good . But sake options are limited.
