Best Japanese in Vancouver by far in our my spouse & I opinions. We tried the chef's tasting menu along with several items from the regular menu recommended by our server. Everything tasted fresh with high quality ingredients. The décor is a bit dated, however the food is so good it didn't matter. We can't wait to go back.
The service we had was spectacular and lovely. The food was amazing - each piece of sushi or sashimi was better than any I'd ever had. Each of the rolls was better than any I'd had in another sushi restaurant. I can't say enough good things about Tojo's, other than I wish that I could afford to eat here more often...

We had an amazing dining experience here at Tojo's. The food was delicious and the service was incredible. I definitely recommend checking this place out! The bluefin tuna and the wagyu is incredible. All the seafood is so good.
So good! Went for my birthday, during covid, and ordered the $95 Omakase menu. I was worried as others had said it wasn't worth it, but I found each course to be fantastic. I told the server I had never tried sake and she brought me a taster, which was great. Really fantastic experience.
Top quality sashimi. Very fresh and naturally sweet. Amazing staff and atmosphere. Very recommended for special occasions
